Amazing and talented attorney!

It is easy to say a lawyer is good if he or she wins your case as Brittany did for us. But what makes a good lawyer is not so much winning, as striving to win. A legal matter handled as a legal issue is different than a legal matter handled as a matter of interest. Brittany was always engaged in the fight and win lose or draw we had the feeling that even if decisions did not go our way, we were represented by an advocate who gave us the best representation we could have possibly had. She was always available and eager to present the case matter with spirit and zest infused with the passion of seeking the best possible outcome under the circumstances prevailing, where justice would be served, rather than just a bland legal presentation couched in legalese. She represented us in a complicated Real Estate matter involving a quarter of a million dollars. To say she is astute is an understatement.

Mrs. Coss consulted me in a rental agreement dispute about a year ago. She was very knowledgeable and informative. I ended up breaking a lease, free of penalty due to Mrs. Coss help. I would highly recommend her expertise, especially concerning real estate matters.

This is a wonderful lawyer that genuinely cares about you and what you want. He is very proactive in action. He doesn't take up unnecessary time ( which is money). But at the same time he shows that his interest is real and he wants to do what will help him win your case.

I paid 100 dollars for the initial consultation. After the consultation, I tried for several days to reach the office. I left voice mails and used the message board. I could not get one simple question answered before I paid my retainer fees. I DO NOT feel comfortable hiring a firm that is too busy to return a phone call. I hired a different attorney that will get the job done. The 100 dollar consultation fee should be returned to me. I never received a full consultation because my questions were never fully answered by Mr. Slaughter. I feel lucky I decided on a different attorney. Moreover, he talked to me over the phone without a consultation fee.

This firm really is a great asset to anyone seeking to resolve a legal issue. Whatever your need(s) might be, they will rush and really jump through hoops to get it done, even if that means going down 17 floors, and jogging down the street to the City-County Building on the fly--as sometimes things just can't wait! lol Additionally, if you have an extreme situation where emergency access to them in required, their are options available to you around the clock. All of the attorneys there that I personally dealt with, were down to earth, reasonable, and worked very well with respect to all persons involved (i.e. judge, myself, other party [despite their insanity]) and ultimately they are simply great people to have going to court with/for you. While yes, I could always ask for a better experience in the courtroom (I am sure many people could), what I cannot ask any better for is the well-rounded, researched, and collaborated decision making, recommendations, and results I received with these guys... Hands down, I really could not ask for better. That includes anyone at this firm that represented and/or assisted me. With all the praise, I definitely recommend this attorneys office to anyone who wishes to have a smooth and beneficial outcome to their legal case--they are quite determined to achieve it! However, the one thing I must warn you about (so you are fully satisfied with their representation), they do not work for free (as you would, of course, suspect), they are not cheap, and you may go above and beyond your initial retainer. In fact, I would probably plan on that, as they bill in an upward estimate on EVERYTHING--literally--and they invoice every month on the 1st. It will be loaded with a description of anything and everything (I.e. If they chewed a piece of gum on your behalf, best believe your getting invoiced for the pack of gum from which it came, and also for the time it took to chew all the flavor out. haha. Well, maybe not quite that bad, but you get where i'm going with it). But, hey...They are good at what they do, and they are well aware of it. It's a classic "you get what you paid for" and you can't be upset about it, because it only makes good business sense to do so. My advise is, when your providing that C.C. number for payment, just remember in the back of your head that it is all for the greater good and for your favorable judgement to be. All others (those that have limited resources), if you don't have the income to afford these guys, you may do financially better with a different attorney or group; perhaps one that is less established. That's all I have... Thank you everyone at LaFevor & Slaughter for a great outcome, and for everything you have helped me with. Workplace company for 4 or 5 Serves. Donna at the reception is terrific

From the office manager; to the firm's paralegal; to Mr. Slaughter himself, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and timely with their responses. After working with two other attorneys, when I met Mr. Slaughter, I finally felt like someone had my back. He and his team were the light at the end of a dark tunnel. Mr. Slaughter prevented me from having to return to court and brought much needed closure to a never-ending battle with my former spouse. I would recommend LaFevor & Slaughter without reservation.

Patrick and his firm take pride in their work and the people they’re working for and it shows. They fight for what they believe in and they believe in their clients. It’s one thing to be a good lawyer, but to have integrity and ethics puts you above the others. I can’t thank him enough for caring about me and my family’s wants and needs and taking time to help us.
