Lance Baker hurt my case by not being prepared with all the paperwork needed for case.. He rarely returned my calls.. If your not a high dollar client you might as well represent yourself

I am currently being represented by Lance. I feel he has dropped the ball for me. I was pulled over in Claiborne County TN for Improper Display and beaten badly after I asked for more officers to come to the scene rather than cooperating with the one female officer, out of fear for my life. I have severe disabilities and was talked to in an expotential way. Informed of my disability, The officer continued to hurt me further. Then not inform any of the 'back up' she called for, of my disabilities, just instructed them, get him down get him down. I was having a mental health crisis at that time and their Lieutenants policies do not allow for any time to talk with a person. She acted negligently and caused great harm and lingering traumas. Being beaten up caused a lot more of which she is partly responsible for. I then was jailed, mind you I have a severe tbi with a dai, in other words brain stem injury from partial ejection at 60 mph 10 years ago with documentation that would support proof of mental health crisis and a policy that did not allow for my safety at the time of the incident but allowed for the officers safety. Lance has taken his time. Not communicated with me, lead me to believe he would take my civil case for 9 months only to then decline. Leaving me with almost no time, while I am on bond of 10k for 9 months now. Going on 10. And am just about to have a preliminary hearing. Where in him leaving me without representation after agreeing at first to do so prompted my calls to the City Hall to write up my formal complaint which I took to Lance wanting to file but told him I'd wait to go over it with him. I reached out to Jared Effler who has spoken with Lance about things unbeknownst to me on multiple occasions referring to me and my case. Jared effler offers plea including the felony charge. Upon my first appearance with Lance I stated I had a disability and it would take care of the charge of Retaliation for past actions. Lance ignores my statements that I am not criminally liable for an outburst under a mental health crisis with documentation of such. I declined plea. We now have the preliminary hearing set for the 11th month, 1 month from statute of limitations to file civil and he declines to give me no advice on how to do so on my own after referring me to someone who said no Mr Baker has no bearing over whether or not we take a case. I've also incurred 13-14 new charges in reaching out to the City Hall attempting to file my formal complaint which in our first interaction Lance was to help me with. I didn't come to you a criminal Lance. This is all false charges and tactical delay. I came to you, a victim, and you treated me like I was the criminal they said I was and misrepresented me. Civil Litigation should have been the first thing on their desk Buddy

Insurance renewal arrived and because of April Violets advocacy and plea to the motorcycle community to upgrade "UM" uninsured or underinsured coverage I looked inyo my policy selections. I contacted April with some questions and after a brief conversation she pointed out some deficiencies in my coverage. I made the changes and it only cost me an extra $6 on my policy! Garza will be my go to if God Forbid I need help. Thank you April.

I hired Lance to represent me on a criminal case after he had taken a Civil Rights case on contingency against Sevier County. He understands corruption and is not scared of ANYONE! The Civil Rights case of course was counter-acted with a very difficult criminal case against me by a very high profile political figure within my County. I hired him because he had a very good track record against elected officials. I have to say that his plan was a good one. After much litigation on his end with the prosecution and the judge there was not much evidence against me and he burned that into their minds, and in the end it worked out really good. I can't get on here and give specific details of my personal cases. But I will tell you this man will even talk to you on the weekends even on Sunday with that being said what Attorney is going to talk to you on a Sunday? I highly recommend Lance Baker. I am posting this review anonymously as I myself am a public figure and do not want the attention. But take my advise. Hire Lance and he will get you the best outcome for any situation. Lance, Thank you for your continued work. My case is now over and he is still working to improve the outcome for me and now he is my family Attorney. I trusted him with my life and now the only reason I am able to type this review is due to taking his advice. He won't let you down.
