Mr. Kurtz and Sharyn his assistant were very kind and helpful. They both responded quickly to emails and phone calls. The court case went smoothly and in a timely fashion and we were very happy with the outcome.

When faced with criminal felony charges I went through a range of emotions ranging from shock, fear, sadness, embarrassment and anger. These emotions can be especially exacerbated if wrongly accused and facing serious career-ending charges like I was. However this happens to people all the time. Unless you work in the field or previously experienced it, most people are in the dark when it comes to navigating the judicial system. I was very scared and that is why I am so thankful that I hired Nate Evans. Nate was professional and calm but direct, which was what I needed during my times of stress. He was never judgmental nor condescending. I wanted to know exactly what I was facing and all my options. Throughout all my questions he responded quickly and answered them patiently in a manner that I could understand. My case was relatively complex and lasted several years, however I always felt that Nate was constantly thinking about it. Not only was he detailed in his preparations, his experience in the law was apparent as he strategically worked my case. In the end Nate was instrumental in getting my charges completely dismissed. I am forever grateful and highly recommend him.

Nate Evans has been my lawyer a few times in situations where I have made questionable decisions. My past two charges he helped me off of with no problem. He is very easy to talk to and he communicates well. He is very diligent and works his hardest to help his clients. I recommend him to anyone and have handed out a few of his cards just in case anyone is in need of a lawyer down the road. He is reasonably priced, fair, and overall very caring. I would choose Nate Evans again and again if I ever needed to.

Unfortunately, my experience with Steve was very similar with most divorce attorneys in Knoxville. They impress you on the initial consult until they get the big retainer. In short, stay away from Steve. They will milk you for every dime you have and do nothing for your case. Like previous reviews I read here, run don't walk. Any good reviews here, are from family members, employees or friends.
