Cons
1
Potential issues with responsiveness and follow-through
“After a couple of weeks and no papers I called to inquire, Nov 14 to be exact and was told by the lady who answered the phone that she didn't have anything to be mailed out to us then was transferred to the voicemail of the attorney's assistant. I left a detailed voicemail with my number & asked for a call back with an update and time we could expect the papers. As I type this, Dec 3 we have still yet to receive the papers let alone a returned call from the voicemail I left the assistant on Nov 14.”
2
Concerns about pricing and billing transparency
“Their services were available only if they were retained for a year during which time (I got the impression) I could utilize their services without limit. However, if you want (for example) them to prepare a will and nothing more, there are no provisions for that.”
