Larry Bray has served me and my family for the past several years as our family's estate and business planning attorney. As a Certified Financial Planner I have had the opportunity to work with a number of attorneys in the Mid-South but I've chosen to work with Larry because of his expertise, availability, organized approach to business, and his unparalleled ability to make the complex seem simple. Our experience with Larry Bray and his entire staff surpassed any expectations we had going into the estate planning process even though we were referred by several individuals to see Larry specifically. Larry was very kind and personable in our meetings. He clearly understands the emotional decisions couples face when discussing their estate planning needs. He allowed us to ask several questions and answered them thoughtfully (even drawing pictures to help us visualize the concepts). We knew from discussions with our friends and colleagues that our estate plan would probably need to consist of a revocable living trust due to some family dynamics. Larry was able to send us home from our first meeting with very specific topics to discuss these issues before we decided to move forward with any type of planning. Once we did make the decision to hire Larry, he met with us to go through our decision making process and helped us think of a few things we had not discussed. We hired Larry to prepare a revocable living trust for us. Not only did he prepare the trust agreement, but he also prepared multiple powers of attorney, health care documents for privacy, living wills and last will and testaments for each of us. He also gave us specific written instructions for each of our assets on how to get them transferred into our trust via ownership change or beneficiary change. His staff handled deed work for our real estate holdings and filed them with the appropriate offices. Today his paralegal, Janet, contacted me because we had recently closed on a new property and didn't have the deed when we met with Larry. She had made a note to follow up with us if she had not heard from us about our deed. We still have not received our deed from the closing attorney, but she was able to locate the filed deed and download a copy to prepare the new deed. Then, she emailed me a quit claim deed so that our property was titled properly in the name of our trust. She was very nice and highly efficient. The client service of this firm was truly superb. Our client experience was top notch.

I was trying to get an estate plan completed. I had been working with another attorney but after 2 months I wasn't getting anywhere fast. I found Mr. Bray and called for an appointment. I found him to be very thorough and knowledgeable of the right choices for my planning needs. (Incidentally he found several tax issues with the route that was supposed to have been in the works) The communication was great and the plan was completed in a timely manner.
