I had a case that I needed to file, and though I had a legal plan that covered this type of case, I was reluctant to contact any of the law firms due to unpleasant past experiences. I initially planned to work on it myself but due to complexity of the case, I decided to try my legal plan again. Thankfully, I chose the Burdette Law Firm and that was the best choice I could ever make. Caroline picked my call, asked some basic questions about my case, and told me she would get back to me. I thought I wouldn’t hear back based on my experience with other law firms but just five minutes after the call, I got email notifications from the firm with their portal information. I could immediately start sending documents and messages to them. Caroline was so sweet with answering all my questions and responding to my messages on time. She immediately scheduled a meeting with Christina Burdette and me. Christina was so warm and made me feel at ease. She had already gone through all the documents I provided before our meeting. Christina assured me it’s not as complex as my documents make it look and that she would handle everything. She simplified the entire process and I’m super grateful for her kindness. This firm provided excellent communication throughout and worked with me to the end, without requiring additional payments from me. Thank you, Caroline and Christina. I appreciate you both more than you would ever know. Please give this firm a try. You would be glad you did.

This is the worst law firm that I have had the experience of potentially working with. I called for a probate case consultation and everyone that I spoke with was extremely rude. The first interaction was with Aaron. He could not answer any questions that I had and was snarky with his responses. By the end of the call, I told him that I no longer wanted an appointment because his tone and attitude were horrible. Four hours later, I was sent an invoice for $150. I called to see why I was sent this invoice when I never made an appointment. I spoke with Lizette and she was rude as well. She said that she would forward my message over to the correct person. When I asked for that person’s name, she told me that she did not know who it would go to but they would get back to me during business hours. I then received a phone call from Rose Marie. She called, stated my name, and then proceeded to tell me that I could not speak with an attorney for free and that I would need to pay the invoice. She then informed me that the amount paid would go towards my services and would not let me speak. I had to interrupt her to get her to stop talking so that I could explain to her that I did not want an appointment with Christina. I then told her what had happened with Aaron and Lizette. She went on to say that her law office was a great firm and that I was being aggressive. I told her that I was matching her tone because she was rude and very aggressive when she first contacted me. She then began to argue with me about how Christina would never get paid if she constantly talked to people for free. I raised my voice in return and told her that I knew exactly how the business worked, but that how you first interact with a potential client speaks volumes about your business. She then hung up the phone in my face. I sent a request to have her cancel the appointment and she sent a declined notification saying that I was rude and complained about the invoice. This law office staff is horrible.

We went to this firm for some basic estate planning (Will, Living Wills, POA’s). The process was painless and efficient. Christina managed the initial discovery via Zoom, draft documents were delivered by her staff for review via a secure portal, and the final signing was completed in a simple 20 minute meeting. I would confidently recommend this firm to anyone in the Memphis area.

RoseMarie was very responsive to my initial contact for info about appointment and got me details and setup Zoom meeting with Christina. Meeting with Christina was very pleasant, and she answered my questions with needed advice and soothed my nerves about my issues.

Quick, on time, weekly reports, great communication my work was dine all remote didn't even have to go in the office or Court. And got the name change done! Will highly recommend them

The staff at Burdette Law Firm took care of our wills and other basic documents with ease. We had a Zoom call with the attorney so we could speak "face to face" and Rosemarie coordinated everything else for us. We met her today when we signed our documents and she is so friendly and nice in addition to being efficient. Thank you for going to extra mile for us!
