I got pulled over over going 52 in a 45. Cop said I was in a 35 zone clearly lying. Scott didn't fix it, the ticket stood. Easiest case to win and somehow he loses.

Bill Jones provided cool-headed guidance in a seemingly life-shattering situation. He took me from getting no time with my kids to winning majority custody. Plus, he enabled me to save money by teaching me how to do a lot of the tedious homework, like discovery responses, for myself. He wasn’t looking to bleed me dry. He treated me with genuine compassion; while also keeping me grounded, and making sure my goals in my custody battle were realistic. A great friend of mine, who recommended Bill to me, had a similar experience. I had worked with a couple of attorneys before him; and can thoroughly see the difference between an attorney like Bill, who legitimately cares, and a typical attorney who’s just looking to close a deal as soon as possible. I do not recommend you use this law firm. C. Scott Jones was very inexperienced and did a horrible job with my case. I could have done better on my own. Run as fast as you can from this law firm. This is based on personal opinion and personal experience. I am just now finishing up a complaint to file with the State Of Tennessee.

Will and quick claim deed went smooth

I took my elderly, sound minded, mother to lawyer Bill to re-draft her will. Her existing will had been drafted when her husband and eldest son were living. Her will read that her eldest son was the executor. I was a minor at that time. I, at 53 years old, agreed to assist my mom with finding a lawyer to draft a new will. Lawyer Bill operated in a professional manner, had me wait outside of the room while he questioned my mom's true wishes and verify she was of sound mind to make her own decisions, RESPECT TO YOU MR. JONES FOR DOING THAT. Lawyer Bill made my mom feel very comfortable and we all set there for an hour just talking. My mom was so happy with the decision to go to lawyer Bill. Thank you sir! Sorry it took so long to write a review. My wife and I will be in touch to have our wills drafted.

I reached out to the Becker Law firm back in June and, as per the email response, paid a $100 consultation fee and scheduled a meeting in July. After the meeting, I agreed to hire them for a simple family mediation case for $1200. I told Misty Becker that I would have to pay in installments, as I school was starting back up and I'd need to be able to take care of my middle schooler's supplies and clothes. She informed me that as long as the payments were made within 30 days, I'd be fine and she would begin the case as soon as the last payment hit. I made sure that I made the deadline and waited for a response. When August rolled around, I was concerned because I hadn't heard an update but understood, so I reached out to see what progress was made. At first, Misty claimed that she had COVID, which was understandable. But then the next month (September), after it being 2 months, when I FINALLY heard back from Misty, she claimed that she'd never received my last $200 payment. I sent her a screenshot of, not only the receipt that HER OFFICE sent me right after I made the payment, but also a screenshot of my bank account showing every single transaction that I made with them. I didn't hear back from Misty for WEEKS. In fact, I hadn't heard back from her email EXCEPT to send me invoices showing that I wasn't paid up. After a while, I reached out and suggested that maybe I should get another lawyer, as she was not fulfilling the agreement that we had and, as I wanted this matter to be done with before the end of the year to avoid holidays, we were pushing deadlines. Rather than email me back, Misty had someone in her office (Monica) reach out to me to inform me that, somehow, this illustrious 20+ year law firm was having email trouble. This wouldn't have been a problem, if I hadn't been calling at least once a week to try to get someone on the phone. Of course, no one ever called back. Monica requested the same information regarding the $200 be sent to her, as Misty claims she never received it. I sent the exact same information to Monica and then never heard from her for a week. Come October, I received an invoice stating that I STILL had not paid and, after that, decided that I was done dealing with them. I demanded my refund and told them that I would be taking my own separate legal actions if I did not get my money back. Miraculously...Misty's email managed to work. I was billed for the time I spent emailing Monica and was not issued a full refund. At this point I really don't care. My only concern is making sure that EVERYONE knows what a terrible law firm Becker Law Firm is. I'll be reporting them to the Tennessee Bar Association as well as the Better Business Bureau. It may not do much, and honestly I'm not expecting them to protect one of their own. But I DO know that others need to know that they need to stay away from this office. I wish I'd have done my homework thoroughly on them before because this whole stealing people's money and missing deadlines is apparently their MO. They're TRASH!

Even though I only had a consultation and a already general idea of what my possible outcome was as grim as it seemed Bill was upfront and honest and told me exactly what I needed to hear and my options. No beating around the bush or false hopes.....I needed the hard truth...now I'm better equipped to make the decision I need to make and one that's gonna save me thousands potentially......bill has always been upfront for as long as I've heard him talk on the radio its not a gimmick and as for all these reviews on here about not returning phone calls......from the moment I reached out to Bill there was communication. His paralegals called me back twice....and emailed me .....called me 15 mins prior to the consult and when I reached bills voice-mail he Called back with 5 mins.....all these people probably don't understand they aren't his ONLY client and all 10hrs of his day aren't devoted to them.....THANK YOU Bill as always for being forthcoming and I'll be in touch when I'm ready to do what we need to do with my situation

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! 1 year 8months and they still won't do their job and file my divorce papers So I am having to file a complaint with the law review board .
