Attorney Stokes did her job and more! After attending court via zoom, she was the only lawyer who was prepared and had every documentation prepped for court. She ensured I had everything I needed for court to make the process easy! Going through a divorce with a child is difficult but attorney Stokes made sure my process was easy!!! Def will continue to recommend her services to those in need.

Great lawyers and paralegal. They completed my divorce for me, was straight forward with the details and pricing. I highly suggest using this office, they are very friendly and communicative. I met Miss Stokes as an Uber passenger, and she was very friendly to the point I obtained her for my legal counsel.

Believe what you reviews that you see. Attorney Stokes was on the mother’s side from the time I walked in her door. It never felt like she was doing anything in my best interest. The day we went to court, I owed $57,705 in arrearage. The Judge credited $60,411 but because Attorney Stokes never took the time to see what I owed, the child support attorney brought in an outdated order that said I owed $66,741, I left court owing over $6k. I should’ve had over a $2k credit to my child support account. Don’t be fooled by their responses, that why I provided case and point, now weasel your way out of this review. She was definitely not prepared and I’m still definitely paying the price. Now ask me did she apologize for not being remotely prepared, let me answer, NOPE.

I had a consultation about a divorce with Ms Stokes that started very badly then got worse. I tried several times to explain my circumstances and was met with such aggressive behavior that I became flustered, frustrated, confused and a bit fearful of what might happen in my case. I knew that my wife's 6 year old divorce filing had been dismissed by the judge in a Zoom meeting on November 30, 2021, but due to a clerical error, the case continued to appear before the judge over and over. I was not being contacted by the court so that created a problem. Ms Stokes basically accused me of lying about the dismissal and proceeded to berate me with questions that were irrelevant and took the conversation into a complete waste of time. I appeared before the judge a few days ago and guess what? I was right but now I can move forward to locate a divorce attorney who might listen more and talk less. The level of her aggression is over the top and uncalled for. Maybe i would have appreciated her behavior on my behalf but against me in our first consultation? No! A friend of mine referred me to her. She is very sorry she did.

Original Post July 1, 2021: The consultation was just okay. The Attorney was aggressive but I guess that's good for the courtroom. Not necessarily good for a client consultation. My Reply on July 23, 2021: I knew that your 1st defense would be my name is not recognized on your documentation. This is my birth name. I got married and it changed. I definitely paid my consultant fee by debit and I did receive a zoom link. However, as a client, I don't have a problem with taking under advisement what a professional is telling me. Meanwhile, I do have a problem with the delivery and aggression of Madame Stokes. It's your practice and you may do as you please. I am just giving my assessment as a customer. A professional would have invited me back to the table, and had a open dialog.

Mr. Glass was very professional and took care of me from the first meeting. Highly recommend.
