Ben represented my son and his fiancé against a rogue DHS worker and revealed the truth in her and the ex husbands false accusations. He’s very knowledgeable and missed nothing.

Both Ben Lewis and his assistant Ashlie has been a great help with my case. They have been reasonably responsive. Ben is sharp and knowledgeable in the law and any questions I needed answers for. He expressed care in my case and helped me with the best approach to the matter that which I was dealing with. Thank you for representing me.

It's hard to cover it all in 4,000 words or less, but simply put, great aggressive client advocating sales pitch upfront but inexperience and shortcomings only followed. Made a change and it's been a weight lifted and opposing counsel hasn't been able to continue antics they were previously never challenged on. Maybe experience and time will improve, but can't recommend this attorney for anything that is, or even could become complex.

Big promises, aggressive sales pitch, fight for his clients....all sales. Once the check was paid and contract signed, it was all downhill from there. Hands down the worst Communication ever. You will get an email at 4:50, if you here from him, and that's the day before a hearing. Absolutely no ore-hearing meetings to go over case strategy and testimony, never provided "legal advice" just here's what's probably going to happen as we are walking into the hearings. Never subpoenaed requested documents, witnesses, or addressed matters provided to him. He couldn't even accurately describe my employment. However, bring any of this to his attention and he's quickly combative and somehow blames you. Fortunately, the emails don't lie as a paper trail is there. Never once provided a contact phone number, just said call the office if needed, DESPITE knowing excessive after hours and weekend Communication was needed due severity of issue. More concerning was ZERO attention to the child's beat interest, he doesn't even know my kid's name unless he goes back and looks at the case file.
Worse off, he is ABSOLUTELY inexperienced in litigation and it shows. I would never recommend going into a courtroom and expecting him to try your case. Was disengaged, paying attention to his phone and iPad and missed countless opportunities to intervene on the clients behalf and allowed opposing Counsel this entire time to dictate terms. He even had the audacity and unprofessional demeanor to allow the defendant's attorney to draft the Order of Protection that was against HER client that was arrested causing the order to be necessary. Documentation doesn't lie, any frivolous response from him is expected to be defensive and claim that costs money, or I clearly told my client what the likely outcome would be, but facts and documentation clearly show a disengaged, inexperienced attorney that will not get involved deeply, meet deadlines, nor give clear legal advice like when to file a motion to block irrelevant subpoenas or protect your sensitive private medical records.
Conclusion, some attorney's have passion for the law and helping people, others become lawyers for the title and MONEY. This attorney clearly represents the latter. Hence the formal complaint to the Supreme Court Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility and his firing.
