I was referred to Scott Kimberly in February 2020. And I am thankful that I was. I was dealing with a domestic assault charge from my wife at the time. And I knew that I had finally had enough and I was filing for divorce as well. I met with Scott and Chase and I knew immediately that he is who I needed to represent me for my criminal case and filing for divorce. Dealing with the COVID pandemic and a soon to be ex that didn’t want to cooperate caused my cases to get put off several times. Scott and Chase stayed on top of everything and made sure that myself and my kids were in the best situation. Over the last year with Scott as my attorney we beat the domestic assault charge and had it dismissed in six months. As a father filing for divorce Scott built a strong case for my divorce as well. After having several hearings and appearances I was awarded absolute divorce. I was granted full custody of my four kids and my home. I have had the unfortunate need to hire an attorney twice in my life - once during my divorce and once to adjust my parenting plan as my son is about to begin school. I had a much more positive experience with Scott and his team during the parenting plan adjustment than I did with my divorce attorney. Everyone in the office is very friendly and quick to help, answer questions, make adjustments, etc. Attorneys and their staff are human, of course, and even the best office will make mistakes. As hard as they work, and as much as they care, no one will care as much as you do about the reasons you're seeking legal help. So study all the documents! Ask questions about things you don't understand. Have friends and family review them as well. I recommend Scott and his team for anyone local who needs assistance, and while I hope that I never need another attorney, I would definitely hire them again in the future.
