I had the unfortunate experience of hiring this legal practice for a case, and it has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I wouldn't wish their services on my worst enemy. First and foremost, their lack of punctuality is mind-boggling. They were consistently late to every single meeting that was scheduled, and not by a few minutes, but often by hours! It's as if my time meant absolutely nothing to them. This not only showed a complete lack of respect for my schedule but also demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism on their part. But that's not even the worst part. Throughout the entire process, they failed to adequately explain the potential repercussions of the decisions I was making. It's almost as if they were just trying to push my case through as quickly as possible without actually caring about the outcome. They didn't take the time to help me understand the potential consequences of the plea they recommended, and it left me feeling completely blindsided when I later found out the long-term impacts it would have on my life. I can't stress this enough: stay far away from this legal practice. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and clearly more interested in their own convenience than the well-being of their clients. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, do yourself a favor and find a legal team that actually cares about the people they're supposed to be representing. This was a painful lesson, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.

Title: Unreliable and Uninformative - A Terrible Experience with May & McKinney, PLLC I had an extremely disappointing experience with May & McKinney, PLLC. The team's constant lateness to scheduled meetings was beyond frustrating and showed a lack of professionalism. It felt like my time was not respected, and I was left waiting without any explanation or apology. Moreover, what added to my dissatisfaction was the lack of clarity and transparency regarding the repercussions of my plea. I expected a clear and thorough explanation of the potential outcomes, but they seemed more interested in pushing through the process without giving me a proper understanding of the consequences. This legal practice's incompetence and disregard for their clients' time and understanding of their cases are simply unacceptable. I do not recommend their services to anyone seeking a reliable and informative legal representation. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a more competent and respectful legal team.

Recommended them to a family member and they truly let me down in their representation. I’m not sure if Roger May is still there or not, but I don’t believe he would be proud in how his office is currently operating.

While Mr. McKinney obtained an okay outcome for my DUI situation, the truth is.. I cannot recommended him to anyone in the Nashville area. Rob is perpetually late to scheduled calls/meetings that he has his own team set and the entire process will be last minute and extremely stressful. Rob’s charisma shines through in the court room, but he’ll also use that same charm on you to talk his way out of giving you your trial feel of ~$7,500 back. See, Rob looked me in the eyes in his office and shook my hand when telling me “if this case doesn’t go to trial, you’ll receive the full trial fee back.” However, when the time came, Mr. McKinney quickly went to excuses and reasoning why he should keep that money, even though I took a plea deal and the whole thing never went to trial. Rob kept this process going for 3 years continuously siphoning money with empty promises of a return if it didn’t go to trial. I believe Rob is truly as unprofessional as it gets when it comes to respecting your time and your money as well as his colleagues/employees and would not recommend him to any Nashville resident. (His team reached out to me saying I would receive half of my $15,000 back since I should not have been charged that much in the 1st place, with heavy implication that they would appreciate me removing my review in return for that. Since then I have realized the importance of your legal counsel being able to CLEARLY tell you the ramifications of something you plea to, which his office continuously did not do, and left me with a whole lot more expenses than previously expected through Rob’s counsel.)

I would highly recommend Rob MKinney Jr and his firm. A family member was involved with a serious charge, had no prior criminal record. We needed represrntation who understood the dynamics involved with the case. A trusted friend referred me to this firm From our first meeting I felt the attorneys listened to my concerns, and answered our questions. No one sugarcoated the situation and they were strategic, reliable and reasonable.

If you are looking for an attorney in the Nashville area, there is no doubt Rob McKinney is your guy! Hiring Rob was the best decision I could have ever made. Rob’s knowledge of the judicial system and the law is unparalleled and so evident in the courtroom and in consultation. He also shows how much he genuinely cares about you and your future which made it so easy for me to put my full faith in him. His staff at the firm were also incredibly responsive and kind, which made the entire process much easier and understandable. I am beyond thankful for Rob and his firm and if you hire Rob as your attorney, I guarantee you will be too.

Rob helped me get my life back, no better way to put it as a summary. To give the whole scoop i sat down with Rob and he made me feel comfortable and like I could carry on with my day to day and let him take on the rest. How right I was to put my confidence in him! If you want legal absolution and peace when you sleep Rob is the only man I’ll recommend. Thank you!
