Long story short. Have never been in trouble before in my entire life and was facing a DUI and a related charge. Not having been through the process before I was completely terrified of both the potential penalties and stigma associated with a conviction. David took me through the process, communicated well the entire time, and reassured me every time I needed him to. The respect he commanded in the courtroom was clear. He negotiated a great deal that resulted in a lesser charge and a dismissal of the other one. He never guaranteed a result - a good attorney never does, but the result was definitely amazing and exactly what the expectations he set for me. As a person who is not from nashville mr. Ridings made this unfortunate experience as easy going as possible. He also pushed hard to seek out the best possible outcome, and made sure I understood everything every step of the way without trying to nickel and dime me.

In April of 2018, while visiting a friend in Nashville, I was involved in a physical altercation that led to my arrest for assault. Given my job, I simply could not have a conviction on my record. I had previously never been charged with a crime, so I was completely oblivious as to how the system works. David was great throughout the course of my case. He answered (or returned) my phone calls, responded to my emails (even the ones in which I was just venting my frustration with the process) and was prepared for court. Thanks to David, my case was effectively dropped, a result that was much better than I expected. I'm hoping that my days as a defendant in the TN criminal justice system are over, but were I in a similar situation again, I would absolutely hope to have David on my side.
