If you are in need of a family law attorney, or an attorney in general, I highly recommend Rachel Thomas. When I needed an attorney to help me with a child support case, I interviewed a few attorneys and ultimately decided to hire Ms. Thomas. Having never hired an attorney before, I didn’t know what to expect going into the consultations but when I met with Ms. Thomas I immediately felt at ease. She was very professional and very thorough, but still pleasant and comforting. She helped me to understand the ins and outs of my case and what my options were along with what she felt was the best course of action. Upon hiring Ms. Thomas, she immediately got to work on my case and kept me informed on what was happening all along the way. I was extremely impressed by the fact that she always made me feel like I was a part of the process through her willingness to answer any questions I may have had and by allowing me to voice my opinion on matters involving my case. Even more impressive was the personal attention she gave – never once did I feel like she was too busy or unavailable. I always dealt directly with Ms. Thomas from the beginning to the end. Prior to going to court she made sure I knew what to expect going into the court room and after we left with a verdict in my favor, she followed up with me to finalize the details of my case. I was charged with a DUI by consent. At the time of my charge, I did not realize that DUI by consent is just as bad as a real DUI. The both hold the same consequences: public service, jail time, court fees, probation, and suspension of your drivers licenses. Needless to say, when I found out that I was basically looking at a DUI charge, I was stressed and frantic. I didn't know what to do. My friend referred me to Rob McKinney. I have been in and out of trouble since I was 18 years old. I have had public defenders, lawyers who charged a minimal amount and boy do you get what you pay for. On several occasions I was not guilty but listened to these attorneys and before I knew it I had several misdemeanors and 2 DUI's in cases where there was little to no evidence. I had not gotten into trouble for 5 years when I got charged with another DUI once again there was actually evidence to prove that I was in the passenger seat and not behind the wheel. I found Rob's name and went to see him and he treated me like family, he was very kind and I didn't feel like a second class citizen. I would have to say that Rob McKinney is the lawyer for any situation that you are facing. Throughout my case he helped with relieving the stress I was experiencing and help to put my mind at ease. There were many questions I had and he answered them all for me which made me feel more confident in going to court. He helped me to understand that he was going to do everything in his power to make sure my case was taken care of. It was the best call I could have made and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is seeking help.

All I can say is when you're faced with a nightmare, Rob is a dream come true. He was recommended to me by many, and I'm so thankful I took their advice. Obviously, I was terrified of the situation I had gotten myself into, but he immediately put me at ease telling me to stop worrying, that it was in his hands at that point; he'd take care of it. I cannot even begin to express to you the extent to which he kept his word. I had always heard about how AMAZING Rob McKinney was from multiple friends of mine but I never knew exactly what that meant until recently. My younger brother got into a pretty tough situation because of adolescent immaturity that risked everything including his recent enlistment into the ARMY. My Family and I had no idea what to do, we knew we needed a lawyer and only wanted someone we could trust. After speaking with multiple past clients of Rob's and all of them saying that he could help us out we decided to meet with him and BOY did he help us out!!!! There were multiple things that Rob had to do for this charge. 1st he had to get the court date moved, as my brother was scheduled to leave for the military at the 1st of the year. 2nd (And most important) we needed all charges to be minimized so that it would not affect his enlistment. Well ROB DID ALL OF THIS and more!!! We not only got out court date moved a month ahead of time but Rob was able to get his charge COMPLETELY DISMISSED and Expunged. We are so THANKFUL and BLESSED that Rob is the attorney that he is! He was so real and down to earth with us and my brother. He always worked to get this charge completely removed and even corrected myself when I told him, " we would be okay with a misdemeanor" ....He quickly responded that HE will not be happy with that and that he will work to get all of this dismissed!
