I got arrested for my first dui a few months back and naturally I was very nervous. David put my mind at ease during the consultation but it wasn't until we got to court that I really knew I hired the right lawyer. From the minute he walked into the courtroom, he damanded respect from everyone in the room including the judge. Within a few minutes of talking with the DA, he struck a deal to get my charge reduced to reckless driving and negotiated the terms that I wanted. If you want somebody that cares and will fight for you, David is your guy.

David Ridings has, time and again, offered me sound legal advice. As a former Nashville Metro police officer, he has special insight into how the law works when it comes to traffic stops, DUIs, and other issues. I've had some pretty unique situations to present to him and he always has solid insight and answers.

Honestly not sure why so many 5 stars. He was really nice and upfront at first. Totally wasted $3500. He froze in court and wouldn’t let us speak to the judge at all. The judge was very understanding of previous cases and let people explain themselves. I feel if we had the chance to actually plead our case she’d have understood 100%. Followup to make sure charges were removed from the system was a nightmare. He got mouthy and rude after he was “done with us” for what he did we could have found someone less expensive and more understanding. He said he all these connections to get video surveillance pulled to show what really happened, well that never surfaced to help our case. The root issues were never brought to light. The bouncer pressing charges funny enough wasn’t even working that night and the two bouncers involved weren’t even referenced in the affidavit. So illegally hired is my guess but none of that was mentioned in court. He just didn’t give us a chance to be honest.

I consider myself totally lucky to have been put in contact with Mr. Dumas. I was terrified about my charges and he took care of them. He beat them at the preliminary hearing stage. Cases dismissed! He saved my career. I will always tell people to go to him.

I had the best experience, Mr. Dumas was pleasent to deal with. He worked with me on payment which I really need and appreciated. I would recommend him to everyone and any one. He was even available on weekends. I was able to communicate with him over the phone and via email!! Needless to say he is knowledgeable and in turn won my case.

Rick delivered on what he said he would do. Other lawyers were very pessimistic about the outcome of my case but Rick was optimistic from the beginning and he was right. We got a much better deal than I thought we could have. He worked magic for sure!

he is an upfront and honest person and that's very hard to be especially being a lawyer. He will tell you it is what it is and it ain't what a day and he will not sugar coat it for you and that at least gives you the knowledge to do what you need to do.
