I had a time sensitive issue, regarding a judgement, arise from an old case which was mishandled by another attorney. I won't go into details about my particular case other than to say that the issue at hand is rather complicated and was causing me a great deal of stress. I had called multiple other law firms to seek help, but was pretty much blown off before I could even get an attorney on the phone and once I did speak to an actual attorney, I was told that he couldn't help me and that I would most likely have a hard time finding someone that would. I was feeling pretty hopeless but then I called the Law Office of Atwood & McVay and spoke directly with Chris McVay. He not only listened to what was going on (in all its complicated glory), he asked me questions, and walked me through exactly what would need to happen. He seemed genuinely interested in what was happening to me and even a bit angered by it. I knew at that moment that I had found a one in a million attorney! There are lots of attorneys out there that know the law and are good at what they do, but I think it is rare to find one that's also passionate about helping people. Mr. McVay was extremely knowledgable and immediately got to work to halt the action that was being taken against me. He really helped ease my mind and for the first time in several years, I feel a sense of hope that I can actually fight this. I know this is a long read, but as someone who was blown off by so many other attorneys, I truly am grateful for Mr. Mcvay's help and wanted others to know that there are lawyers who will go the extra mile to help:)
