My daughter advocated for me to explore possibilities for potential compensation after my recent no-fault car accident. My daughter noted an ad that she saw which led her to SGF.
Despite very meticulous details provided to the two persons doing the initial intake, my daughter was met with questions from someone assigned the case representing SGF. Confirming details is fine, but the questions, or lack thereof, posed from the representative suggested that these details were not provided or not read. Moreover, the representative seem to have a challenge with retaining information clearly given and the context.
Next, that representative did not have a very pleasant demeanor with my daughter and did not communicate in a way satisfactory to us. My daughter felt she was being tolerated and rushed. Maybe they were young or having a bad day, my daughter thought.
That representative's attitude, tenor, and communication style were not conducive to a healthy or fruitful relationship to move forward.
Even before ending the final call, this person talked over my daughter as she had a side bar recapping some things to me. They had to always be heard or control the conversation, my daughter said. That person listened to respond and did not listen to understand. They did not possess good active listening skills.
My daughter was advised by that same rep to put in writing the decision to terminate working with that individual due to her perceived attitude and off putting communication style. The representative said we could TEXT that decision. The text was sent. The initial intake person was emailed the same message for a more reliable record.
While we would POSSIBLY consider potentially working someone else at SGF, this rep has caused us to question if this is isolated or a firm concern.
Customer service and client communication are a part of professionalism. My daughter did not feel valued at all when trying to discuss my case.

My case was transferred from another firm and Rivers was assigned to take over. I was extremely pleased with her responsiveness, timely updates, availability and overall professional demeanor. She also made sure to take the time to answer all my questions along the way. I highly recommend.
