I am a practicing criminal defense attorney with 27 years of experience and I am a client of Attorney Philip Clark. In July 2023 I was on vacation in the Nashville area with friends and family and was charged with two criminal offenses. I have represented hundreds of clients but found myself for the first time in my life in need of representation. Like most people I turned to Google. I spoke with several attorneys and actually made an appointment with one the next day, who was ranked very highly in my Google search and whose fee was significantly higher than PNC's. As a business owner I understand that the highest Google ranking is primarily the product of website manipulation and marketing and may or may not represent the best option. I had reservations about my choice and continued contacting attorneys. Phillip's receptionist put me in touch with him directly within two hours. He was confident knowledgeable and reassuring. He asked questions and made points that I knew based on my experience illustrated that he was a strong advocate who had the knowledge and character to fight for the best possible outcome. Philip put me at ease and encourage that I returned to my vacation and arrange to speak with him after I returned to my home state. When we spoke again we discussed his approach and his familiarity with the prosecutor's and the judge involved in my case. This inside knowledge is invaluable in the practice of law. Most cases can have numerous outcomes based on the exact same facts. Those connections and an attorney's reputation competence and credibility are often the difference between a favorable and less favorable result. Prosecutors are overworked and have to pick their battles. The attorney handling your case will have a major part in the prosecutor's decision which cases to resolve and which cases to pursue to the fullest extent that they can. Ultimately, my charges were dismissed and I was not required to return to Nashville for any court proceedings. As I tell my clients every case is different and you cannot rely on the results of another case to gauge the appropriate outcome of your case. However, I am convinced based on my own experience that Philip Clark knows the law is a strong advocate willing to fight for his clients and has the connections and reputation in the Nashville area to achieve the best possible result. These are the qualities that I pride myself on providing my own clients, and that I was fortunate to benefit from when I hired PNC law.
