I went to Nashville as a tourist from Ontario, Canada to enjoy the downtown party scene and a football game. There were 10 of us sharing 2 AirBnBs and a lot of drinking was involved. What should have been a fantastic holiday turned into a nightmare when I became part of a physical altercation with 2 other people in our group. We were all intoxicated and I was badly injured. I called the police. The police arrested me. I was handcuffed and taken to jail covered in blood. Upon my release I contacted Dunham & Jones for their assistance. This was extremely stressful as not only was I traumatized but having to deal with 2 domestic assault charges and from another country. I also felt that I should not have been the one to be arrested. I am a working professional in Canada and Cesar from Dunham and Jones said he would represent me and that he would do his best but could not guarantee that my charges would be dropped. I was terrified that I would have assault charges and never be able to return to the United States. They were empathetic and I did not feel like just another case. Cesar explained things succinctly and calmed me in what was a horrible situation. Eventually I was told that the charges were being dropped and that I would be able to return to the United States. My relationship with the other people involved is completely severed. I can and am returning to the United States in May to go to an all Women's retreat in Florida. I know I will never need their assistance again but would certainly recommend Dunham and Jones to anyone that would or does!
