I'm going to say right now, my story is not going to be like everybody else on here but God gives us all different struggles and I hope this helps somebody. This firm has helped me through one of the darkest times of my life. On January 3, 2012, I got the call that I had been fired after enduring a horrible neck injury from getting hurt at work a year prior. Bills were behind, my car was broke down and I so did I. They cut my insurance off, they cut my comp check off. Everything stopped in one day. I had to leave my apartment. I had no where to live. They called me and told me they were sending me to pain management and that there was nothing else they could do for my injury. Three years went by, I kept telling the pain management doctor that I knew it was not muscle pain. Every visit, I would tell the doctor that could hardly move, that it felt like lighting was striking across my body. I couldn't move my fingers. Finally, they sent me for a test and told me that my work injury had worsened. The disk had moved and was sitting right on top of the nerve. They told me the ONLY way they could treat it was with steroid shots and pills they wouldn't do surgery- which is what I really needed to correct the issues. I couldn't do anything I loved anymore. I couldn't be with my grandkids. I couldn't play music. I couldn't leave the house without taking a pill. I was so depressed and ashamed. I've never been addicted to anything. I felt like nothing. I did things I'm not proud of but I couldn't handle the pain. Work comp didn't care, they sent me a letter to tell me that they would no longer provide me with care because I ended up abusing the pills that they got me hooked on. I didn't want to be me no more. I didn't want to be here anymore. I couldn't trust nobody. The only person I could call was Rocky. I told Rocky he was my last hope. They only person that could help me and Rocky told me "If you listen to me and get off these pills, I will get you through this- everything will be alright, Alex." And that's when my life changed- finally for the better. And now I know looking back that God, Rocky and my girlfriend and my good friends and very spiritual family are the only reason I that am still here today. Rocky and Dena, got me to treatment right away. They pushed for it. It wasn't easy. I didn't want to at first. But Rocky, Dena, and my doctor got me over the pills. They got me around the curve. They saved my life from a place I never thought it could go. Rocky fought for me. We never went to court, but Rocky just went to work. The adjuster was a nightmare and he spared me from that. He fault hard to secure me a great settlement. After living on $75 a week for four years it was an unbelievable feeling to be able to provide for my family, to buy my kids and grandkids Christmas presents, to be able to laugh and enjoy people. I have a new car that I'm proud of and so thankful for. I still live in unbearable pain everyday but I'd rather lay in my bed all day then destroy my life with another pill. I'm living drug free and that I've won my life back. Getting injured at work and dealing with work comp and their doctors took so much from me. But Rocky Law helped me get my life back and I'm stronger for it. A pill don't fix you, it makes you worser. I will never let anybody else in my life tell me different. I've known Rocky for about 13 years. We met in about 2002. He took a case for me when no one would. He actually handled a few different matters for me. He was upright, straightforward and honest. Rocky McElhaney has went way beyond being a lawyer, he is like a family member. I was badly burned in an industrial accident in 2001 by phosphorus. That day my whole life changed. At the bleakest times in my life he gave me hope. He even got me additional lump sum in social security payments where initially I was told I was going to be owing social security. He really turned that around! This man is incredible. This thing only has 5 stars but i would so love to give it more!! My name is Shelia Lannom and I was a client with Rocky Law firm for the past few years. I want to recommend him and his staff to any one needing a attorney's assistance. Rocky took on my case which as he and I called it a "plane crash" waiting to happen! My case was a up hill battle both ways! Rocky didn't flinch he took on my case as soon as he spoke with me. Then Afsoon came on board and took my experience with his firm to a whole other level. From his front office staff to the back I always felt cared for. Well, Rocky took control of the spiraling plane and Afsoon copiloted, and took my case to a smooth landing. We had a 12 hour trial which Rocky was sick through the whole thing and never complained nor backed down for a second. He and I touched base after trial and I assured him that I felt no one could have done a better job. I don't think rocky could have tried it again as well as he did that day. I let him know that I felt like a ton of bricks had been lifted even without a opinion yet. No matter the verdict Rocky and Afsoon always made me feel like its going to be ok. They had my back!!! When the judges opinion came down Afsoon and Rocky both called me! I could tell it effected them as much as it did me. I hope to never need a attorney again but I know life throws you curves balls at times and you need one. Rocky and his Firm hit my curve ball out of the park. I can't say enough about them, but will recommend Rocky and his staff to anyone needing an attorney! I consider Rocky and Afsoon my friends now.

My only child passed away in a car wreck and I hired Rocky to represent me in a wrongful death suit. I ended up getting as much money by law that I could get to help set me up and more importantly I now get my medical treatment paid for life. ***** has got the skills in the courtroom and he did the work on the back end so I didn't have to do a thing. I've got friends that are lawyers and even they said that they couldn't have got me what ***** got me because it was a gradual injury and that they are hard to prove. ***** didn't give up, he didn't let up an he really went to bat for me. He's just awesome.

I turned to Rocky McElhaney Law Firm and Mr.Russell Belk when I was hurt at work and my employer was not looking out for my best interest. My Employer's Dr gave me a lot of restrictions so I could never return back to my old job but turned around and contradicted that by giving me a 0% rating basically looking out for the company not me at all. Mr. Belk and the firm made sure I was seen by a Dr. that had my interest in account not just my employers. If I would have went with my employers Dr. and never hired Rocky McElhaney Law Firm and Mr. Russell Belk I would have walked a way with no job and no settlement instead I walked with more than a fair settlement. The service I received through out the process was 5 star quality, Mr. Belk and Anna stayed in contact with me about the next steps along with answering my emails extremely fast.
