Planning for your children's future in the event of your own demise would not normally be categorized as a good day... that being said, Emily Green did an amazing job of explaining everything in great detail and making sure I was comfortable and okay through the whole process. In fact, every attorney in that office treated me with the utmost respect and hospitality.

Emily Green did an exceptional job drawing up my will and last will and testament recently. She took time and personalized as well as considered scenarios for a failsafe Will. Additionally, my spouses. She took as much time needed to explain the laws and the process for us to be completely satisfied with what we wished to have in place. She came highly recommended by dear close friends of ours and we in return would recommend her services to any of you reading this review.

Great experience updating our estate planning documents. Emily was a delight to work with, putting us at ease and helping us make good decisions.

The website says “Our philosophy at Jones, Green, & Tackett Law, PLLC, is to personally walk you through every step of your case”. However, we tried to contact and get help filling out a basic document for over two weeks. Each time we were promised a call back, and many times that never came. When we called back, our case was pushed off to an “assistant who would call us back”. After another no call back, we reached out today and were placed on hold for 10 minutes, only to be told that said assistant was “off for the past two weeks, and won’t be back until after the holidays”. So, two weeks waiting for a non-existent associate to fill out documentation we were hiring an attorney to do. I asked for a principal at the firm to call me back so I could find out why they communicate so poorly, but I was told it wasn’t possible. My advice would be to find a firm who focuses on the client, and not push off basic tasks on associates who won’t be at work for a month. I’m aware and empathetic that the associate may have health or family issues preventing her from working, but that’s when the attorney must step up and do the work. And at least communicate. Beyond frustrated that we wasted two weeks chasing these women around. We wanted someone local, so we wouldn’t have to drive into the city, which is why we contacted this firm. I’m sure even after reading this review, nobody will reach out to apologize for wasting our time for two weeks, thus slowing down the filing process even more. It’s shameful the lack of work ethic displayed here. Ridiculous, actually. UPDATE: Called another firm. Prompt phone call returned within the hour. Interview process was professional and fast. Onboarded us in 10 minutes. Walked us through the filing process step by step. THATs how it’s done!

I hired Brandi to help me set up a new parenting plan, this resulted in a mediation with my ex-husband and going to court for various reasons. I felt like Brandi listened to what was important to me and I really appreciated that she took into account what my 15 year old son wanted. I felt like Brandi stood up for me and my son and didn't back down. Brandi and the ladies at this law firm are all wonderful!

She answered all over our questions (and we had a lot), and was thrilled to answer them. Now that we have signed our documents we feel even more prepared in life. While I hope that no one else finds themselves in need of a lawyer for the reason I did, I cannot recommend Emily highly enough. She made the worst time of my life just a bit more bearable.
