Joe Ford is a true southern gentleman

I have hired Mr. Ford a couple of times over the past 25 years and he has always been very kind, knowledgeable, and forthcoming. I have read some of the reviews on here and one in particular bothers me just a bit. It is the one talking about Mr. Ford recusing himself of a case. Joe has always been as upstanding and honest as they come. Upon initial consultation he will agree to take a look at your case and give you an estimate of the cost. Attorneys are paid by time and knowledge. Therefore, if he recused himself from your case it was because he did not feel that he could represent you to your specifications or that you had a case that he could ethically represent. As far as being charged $400 because he looked at your case well that’s fair, they don’t work for free and expecting him to do so is unfair treatment to him. And just so everyone is clear, a consultation is a meeting with an attorney, usually free of charge, where you explain to him, as in depth and as truthful as possible, some of the specifics of your case. If during the consultation you falsify or misrepresent those specifics, then an attorney recusing himself is exactly what you should expect.

Extremely helpful. Listened to everything I had to say. Gave me lots of information so I know what my rights are and what i have to do. Very kind and professional. Highly recommend to others for many cases.
