My name is Paul Cicalo Jr. and I was in credit card debt for over $30,000.00 with 3 major credit card and interest percentages ranging from 15% to 27.5%. Worden and Associates discussed deals and made agreements with those credit lenders to get me debt free in 3 years or less, The only issued was not being told that after becoming debt free, the IRS taxed the money as made income. During the pandemic I struggles a lot with expenses and losses. So, starting this whole process I was very relieved that I can get my life back on track and finally get financial stability. That was over five months ago. I had only 5 accounts that qualified, but only 1 has been closed and settled. I was under the impression that once I signed the contract that it would happen very quickly, and this is not the case. My credit has gone down incredibly because I was told to stop making payments to my accounts which I did and now nothing has been paid on that time and it is messing up my credit and interest rates. When I look in the client portal it shows no movement in months. I have also emailed for updates and get extremely unclear answers as to what is going on. To whomever is going to use this debt relief lawyers please be advised that it’s a simple process to start but it can take forever to resolve or get any answers back and it can damage your credit more so than you making a minimum payments.

I started with this company in August of 2022. When I enrolled I thought I was doing a good thing by joining this company. When I started they told me one fee then a couple of months later they wanted more money. They have settled three of my accounts and working on three others. But I have three more that they saying I need to add more funds to get them settled. One of my accounts I'm having to handle myself cause the company went to magistrate court and I had to settle with them. I'm praying I come out okay with the other accounts I have to settle. I could've settled with the credit card companies.
