Took take of my debts one by one

Very good, did as they said they would As of right now I’m well pleased with Worden & Associates services, very good at keeping me updated on all services they provide for me. Also ask for my ok/permission before any transactions are processed.

Staff provided excellent service.

Worden and Associates did a wonderful job when we first signed on and were getting creditors paid off. now that we have the last two that need to be taken care of it seems like it’s taken forever and ever, I was always promised that I would get a call back from the representative I spoke with. and after this, I was promised they would call me back to keep me advised. Not one ever called me back to tell me where they were with the last two creditors. just lip service. Y’all did really well, until these last two. Still waiting.

So in the beginning of this whole process I was very excited and was like finally I am going to get some relief. That was over six months ago. I had numerous accounts that qualified which was great, but in six months only four have been closed and settled. I was under the impression that once I signed the contract that it would happen very quickly. That has not been the case at all. My credit has tanked incredibly because I was told to stop making payments to my accounts which I did and here we are six months later and nothing has been paid in that time. I was also told that if for some reason I needed to miss a payment that I should just let them know and it would be fine. I contacted them in December about postponing a payment and was told by one person it was fine then I received a phone call from another person saying that it was not able to be done because it would mess up the settlement for my one credit card. During that phone call I also was told that they only work on negotiations with three credit companies at a time which was news to me. I emailed my contact lady and she said that was not true , but I am starting to feel like it maybe. I have also emailed for updates and get extremely vague answers as to what is going on. When I look in the client portal it shows no movement in two months. This is a big problem for me. I have reached out questioning why this was and have received no response yet. Please just be aware that this is an extremely long and lengthy process with not alot of information being given to the client . Update: I was contacted by Worden and Associates on Monday after I wrote this review. I was able to get to the bottom of what the issue was. Please be aware that this is NOT a credit consolidation company, but a credit settlement one and yes apparently they are very different. This was not explained to me prior to Monday. I am beyond frustrated with all of this. It has been 7 months that it took for me to find out answers to questions that I was asking almost monthly. Please just be aware of that prior to getting into a contract with Worden and Associates.

This company is a scam. You can call the credit card companies yourself to settle. Do not give them a cent of your money. They are also extremely unprofessional and do not do what they state they do. I almost had to go to court because they didn't settle with a company like they said they would, and I had to pay off the balance immediately. They then did not take the balance of that off of what I owed. Every time I call there is mysteriously more money I have to pay. If I could go back in time I never would have done this and I wish I had better guidance. They lie about everything. Do not do this! If I could give negative stars and get them in trouble for the damage they have done I would.
