Mr. Warmbrodt, Chelsea, Mayra, Kelli, and the entire office at Warmbrodt and Associates are the most knowledgeable and professional attorney’s office I’ve worked with. Please, take into account I’ve used attorneys for adoptions, severing/obtaining parental rights, divorce, criminal, and child custody arrangements. The amount of knowledge Mr. Warmbrodt can obtain and place into production is beyond impressive. Mr Warmbrodt and his team have helped me sort through mounds of information pertaining to my divorce, and two custody cases that are heading to trial. My cases are nothing short of complicated, and I am so thankful to have been referred to this office. They have provided excellent legal guidance, as well as offered incredible support and empathy throughout a very difficult time, making a challenging situation manageable. Also if you are in need of a resource for any aspect of your case outside his expertise Randy Warmbrodt will connect you to the right people.

The entire team has been so amazing in answering any questions at any time they come up. Holly helped us with our case in 2018. When in need of legal council, there was no doubt we wanted her to represent us again and no one else. She continues to treat us like family and truly cares for the wellbeing of our child. Randy, Katie and Chelsea are so awesome as well!

Top review highlights

Pros
1
Excellent and knowledgeable legal services in areas like wills, trusts, and real estate
“Craig prepares excellent wills and trusts and offers a wealth of knowledge in real estate matters as well as other areas. Highly recommended.”
2
Persistent and creative in handling difficult cases
“Not the most cost effective option. But, when in the face of treachery…this is the lion you want to unleash. Very creative and persistent. In the end, worth every penny.”
3
Strong communication and responsiveness
“Mr Warmbrodt was very knowledge and professional. He has excellent communication skills and is prompt at returning all calls and e-mails.”
4
Compassionate and puts client's best interests first
“He represened a close relative of mine in a mediated divorce. I feel that he was very upfront, honest, and put in his best effort to make sure my relative was fairly represented.”
5
Detailed and efficient service
“Excellent and detailed service. We called Mr. Warmbrodt's office a few days before Christmas and they were willing to take on our case before the holidays. They were fast and very efficient.”
Cons
1
Overcharging and billing concerns
“Randy is really good - but he gets lost when it comes to drawing a line between charging exorbitant fees and doing what's best for a family. Charging more because you're a top attorney is understandable. I think people that excel in their field absolutely should. However, needlessly dragging out a case to draw more fees is theft, child abuse, and abuse of power.”
2
Poor communication and lack of transparency
“Overall, my main complaint is poor communication regarding documents and the entire process not being explained in layman's terms, and the office is moderately overpriced for services provided along with a confrontational attitude from Mr.Warmbrodt.”
3
Unprofessional and rude behavior
“The unprofessional communications I received from their team of paralegals was just plain rude. However the last straw was when My attorney decided just to rant and yell at me.”
4
Prioritizing their own interests over the client's
“Unfortunately my experience was this firm tried to negotiate more with me than the other attorney. They took the easy route and avoided the real work. Fees added up and they were more concerned about payment than the urgent items at hand.”
5
Unethical practices and lack of client advocacy
“This is a very unscrupulous firm! A bunch of blood suckers!! All they do is take advantage of your distraught emotional state and rack up ridiculous charges! Then, when you are left with no money and no way to pay, they immediately file to withdraw as your legal counsel with the court, leaving you to fend for yourself!”

Listen up everyone interested in estate planning for your legacy! I have relied on the advice and legal consulting services of the Baranski Law firm to help in the development of multiple estate planning documents and other needs. He is friendly, relatable and completely down to earth. I have never met someone so knowledgeable who offered so much information and guidance on an initial call. You will be completely satisfied working with him on an estate plan for yourself and your family. Please check out his free Guardianship for Kids designation services. It's outstanding to say the least. I'm sending all the parents I know to him for this one feature because even if they have everything else - they don't have this added feature in place to secure the precious little ones! So in short, I would suggest hiring him now. Attorney Ron Baranski handles everything remotely. At first I was uncertain about how this would work out logistically but after going through the process I would choose it again and recommend it to all my friends. Basically, I was able to complete a few meetings with Mr. Baranski from my home and then when it came time to sign I was able to sign and get documents notarized and witnessed from the comfort of my home. What more? He has excellent customer service and years of wisdom gained experience.

Ron knew precisely how to prepare our wills and how to prevent going through probate. When my husband passed away, everything was easily transferred into my name because of the steps he told us to take ahead of time. When you’re grieving, you don’t need extra issues to make it harder. I highly recommend him for your legal needs.

Nick did amazing! I needed him on a dime and he was there and I got my son back immediately after he was being held from me unlawfully. Mistakenly I used a crook of an attorney before him and she did absolutely nothing for me! Nick did more for me and didn’t even charge me a fourth of what the other lawyer charged me! Also he has the most amazing paralegal Amanda, she was there when I was scared and panicky to make sure I was okay and to assure me that everything was gonna be okay!

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. What potential outcomes can I expect?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Allen, Texas?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
