Ended up getting scr*wed in my divorce, with Carie as my attorney. RIght off the bat, she was slow to respond to my emails, and always left me feeling like a jerk for asking questions, or following up on the status of the case, as my ex was harassing me badly through out the process. She did not stand up for me at all during mediation when the mediator started talking down to me and explaining things to me that she should have been explaining. He literally called me "little lady" at one point. Both of them made me feel extremely pressured into settling, and for that reason ended up with a pitiful amount of support (less than 10% of ex's income monthly). All around it was just a sh*t show. It took about 8 months from the time I filed until the divorce became finalized (two of those months she submitted vacation requests/notices to the judge delaying my case). It was until 7 weeks AFTER we had settled in mediation before it was actually filed into record. Long story short I ended up having to go back to modify the custody and child support. I did it pro se through efile texas. It took me $15 and 11 days from beginning to end. Go elsewhere.

Carie assisted me for several years and is possibly one of the most knowledgeable family lawyers I met. She also couples this skills with a very sensible approach and personable relationship which in difficult moments can make a huge difference in the best decision making. Last but not least, different from other lawyers I met she is very conscientious and NOT greedy.

Highly recommend! Carie Silvestri was knowledgeable, compassionate, and honest. During my consultation with her, she was able to answer all of my questions and describe the process and steps of going through a divorce. I look forward to moving forward with my case with Ms. Silvestri!

Carrie scheduled a consultation with me, charged me about $250, then never reached back out. I had a hearing scheduled and needed her assistance and she literally forgot about me. I emailed her a week before my date asking what I needed to be doing to prepare and she had no clue who I was or why I was contacting her. I told her we had a consultation and she said I never officially "hired" her, therefore she could not help nor was she responsible for reaching back out to me. She had originally told me not to worry and she would be getting in contact with me. She clearly has too much going on and forgot. She never mentioned giving me my money back either. She literally made me pay $250 for her to talk to me for 10 minutes, tell me she will be in contact with me after she reviewed my case, then forgot to do so. Do not waste your time with this wench. She is absolutely horrible and will not look out in the best interest of you.

Divorce is never an easy thing, but Carie really helped me through the process. She made me feel comfortable and represented my interests with competence and care. You have to be able to trust your lawyer, and I trust Carie Mack. First and foremost, Carie is professional. She is honest and straight forward. I've never doubted her. She worked incredibly hard for my best interest and welfare. She was aggressive with opposing counsel, yet caring towards me as a client. I was absolutely amazed by the tenacity and perseverance with which she handled my case. I would HIGHLY recommend Carie Mack for any family law issues.

Carie was a blessing. She handled my divorce with class and professionalism. I was proud to have her as my lawyer in the court room and very pleased with the results her firm was able to get in my case. I am not sure that another lawyer could have handled my case better. When I began looking for a lawyer, I knew that I needed someone who not only would listen to me under the circumstances, but who would also do whatever it took to protect the most important thing in my life, my chldren. I can not thank Carie enough for what she did for me and how she handled these very personal matters. When I first met Carie, I knew immediately that she was different from the other attorneys that I had spoken to about my case. She was personable and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. Most importantly, I never got the feeling that Carie thought of me as "just another client." In fact, she made me feel quite the opposite. She gave me that one on one attention that my case deserved and she always let me know where we were in the process. Divorce is never easy, especially when kids are involved, but I am so thankful that Carie was there for me and helped guide me through the end. I recommend Carie to anyone in need of a family lawyer who really does care.

I first came to Carie after researching attorneys in the Allen area. I meet with several who simply wanted me to pay their retainer and wait until our court date before I would hear from them again. My initial meeting with Carie was the opposite of all of my experiences. She was very caring and wanted to make sure that I understood that me and my son were her number one priority. During the entire process, she emailed and telephoned me on her progress. In the end, I was more than satisfied with my divorce settlement. Words cannot express my gratitude to Carie for making this very difficult ordeal so much less painful. I have recommended Carie to several colleagues and family members and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to anyone reading this review!

She is absolutely horrible! Didn't keep me notified about hearings as well as many other things in the duration of my case. She is very two faced: pretends to have an interest in your case but totally goes behind your back and does things things that do nothing but cause more problems. I am extremely FURIOUS with her! I wouldn't recommend ANYONE use her. Unless you want to get totally screwed over as I did DO NOT USE HER SERVICES!
