It has taken awhile to write this review, not because i am ungrateful for the work Dennis and his team has done, but because what this Great Man has done is a miracle, and it has left me speechless. I know in my heart that anyone looking for a criminal defense attorney in the Amarillo area is not going to find a more honest, to the point, no BS, attorney than Dennis Boren. I have a prior conviction in New York, and Texas wanted to enhance the penalty, so it was absolute that i was going back to prison. Dennis and his team saved me, and I didn't go to prison. i didn't realize how fortunate i was until after learning that the deal i got "never happens!" Dennis, Audrey, and Andrew I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for seeing the value in saving this one man from prison. Thank You! Jerry A.

Where can I start. First off i can not express how disappointed i feel after handing over my husband’s case over to Mr. Boren. I hired him a few months ago for my husband’s criminal defense case. At the initial consultation we went over my husband’s criminal History. went over self-defense, not being a crime, which that I know. he told me he could help my husband out. He was very warm and welcoming. We talked about a few subjects,I felt pretty comfortable, religion was one of the subjects,I shared with him my religious preference, and he told me that he would much rather be a Christian than what I believe in.He said that there was issues with the translation of the Bible that I read.well I don’t know what he may think but this is America and I am entitled to my own opinions and religious prefrence.He boasted On and on about his positive reviews. That’s pretty much what he went by. I was convinced he was looking out for the best interest of my husband. I went over some issues beforehand letting him know and making sure that it was perfectly clear that my husband was both on probation and parole. He stated that if we can prove it was self-defense that shouldn’t be an issue. indeed, it was a case of self-defense. About a week or two went by, his attitude completely changed. He was rude. Didn’t want to be bothered with questions. My husband stated that one time he had a client attorney visit at the jail and, he was short tempered and didn’t want to be bugged with questions. This was his life that was in his hands ofc he had ?’s. The best he did for my husband was an eight year deferred probation which probably would’ve been the outcome if we stuck with the public defender. I took the time to rewrite this review because the initial review that I wrote was under my husband‘s name in which we share that Google account and I am the owner of that account as well.My husband, when he was free, change the name on it, but we share the Account. The reason I’m sharing that is because I just got a phone call from Mr. Boren Himself demanding that I take down the original review or he was going to sue me For slander, he told me I know where you live, I will have you served. unlike you I do not have to hire an attorney I AM a attorney. Mr Dennis Boren said those words to me. I don’t know the need for him to remind me that he knows where I live. I know that he knows where I live I wrote all my personal information down for him at his office.Luckily for me my coworker heard him shouting at me. I tried explaining that it was not slanderous for me to voice my experience dealing with him . it was pointless as he would not let me speak. He was speaking over me shouting at me, so it was basically talking to a brick wall. it was frightening to have him reassure me that he knows where I live. He very much called me to try to bully me in my opinion. He went as far as to call me while I was at work to try to intimidate me with taking me to court for simply exposing what I went through dealing with Mr. Boren. He really called me over a Google review claiming that it was slander only Because I was sharing my review for his law firm. My husband’s case is done and over with he’s serving his time and the purpose of my review is to save the heartache Dealing with the same thing we went through. Mr. Boren was unprofessional. He was rude. I was totally honest with him. There was also a situation Where We miscounted the cash both his assistant and I in her office. The money he requested to take on my husband’s case,was short $1000 Both Audrey and I counted the money And both miscounted it. I didn’t realize this until I got a phone call from his office telling me that the cash was 1000 dollars short. I looked in my bag Sure enough I miscounted I was honest and straight, and I took it right back to him. Again, I’m sharing my experience with Mr. Boren So that people can be aware Of what you may deal with as well. Thank you and have a blessed afternoon. Amazing is the only word I can use to describe Dennis and his Legal Assistant Andrew. Audrey always greeted me with kindness and respect both in person and on the phone. They were all supportive, understanding and compassionate throughout this difficult time in my life. The communication was timely and clear. Dennis and Andrew will work with you to get you the best outcome. All you have to do is do your part. Be honest with them and do what they ask of you. I would give them 10 ⭐️ if I could.

I was treated like a human, not a criminal. I truly had a great experience with Mr. Boren and Andrew and everything went fine. Now just to tackle this marijuana possession case, I bought marijuana from Head Hunters on Western and it is legal to purchase and I was traveling through Carson County Texas on the 14th of July 2024 and a State Trooper K9 officer J Ingle who confiscated my marijuana even though it was legal in the state of Texas to buy and use so in arrested on the side of the road and then released by the officer telling me that I was being charged with a class being misdemeanor for possession of marijuana under 2 oz when I talked to Mr Bourne he assured me that we can get this case completely thrown out but we're going to have to deal with the courts and see what happens but I feel in my confidence and in my heart that Mr Bourne is going to do whatever he can to get me off this marijuana possession case it is anastrosity that we have cops out here that are overviews in their power and Mr Boren told me that he would deal with this

They helped me clear my name and avoid jail time, and for a incredibly reasonable rate! I would definitely recommend.

Mr. Boren is excellent, he made the impossible happen in less then 24 hours. He works fast and does his best for his clients. Highly professional and straightforward. I would use in again anytime.

Andrew was very helpful with answering my questions. He was knowledgeable and understanding. I truly appreciate his help! Will be coming back for services once I need a lawyer. Great and friendly!
