I was very pleased with the services that I received by Mr. Jones and his staff. I was kept up to date on everything, and was always consulted before decisions where made. They made my case, a lot more easier. Would hire Mr. Jones and his staff anytime.

Mark represented me in 2010 in a child custody case. Not only did I get custody of my children, I also have exclusive rights to my boys. God Bless him for his great representation and his legal advice in the following years. Both him and Sue kept me advised on every on every aspect of the case. I am so thankful for the way that they always made themselves available to my questions and progress during my case. I highly recommend them.

Mr. Jones and his assistant Sue, will do whatever is needed to help you win your case. They go over and beyond. They’re not intimidated by other attorneys. Mr. Jones is hands down the best attorney I have personally retained. When I came to his office my expectations of what was possible in my case were thrown to the side and he explained that my expectations were far too low and how he wanted to start the process. By the time the decree was signed he had exceeded his own prediction of what the outcome would be. All the while through the case I never felt in the dark as his assistant would explain every step of the case I needed to know. I would and have recommend him to all of my friends, even the ones outside the county.

Folks I will say this and cut the rabbit chasing, Mr. Jones is honest saved my life a divorce and then couple battles child support. He knows the law. Folks took me long time understand a statement he made. " you can fight pay me and lose it to her so give up and not have pay me to lose it". Hope never need him another DIVORSE!! Unfortunate life events led to an honor and privilege of meeting the Law Office of Mark B Jones. My first experience with them exceeded all expectations. I respected their honesty and diligence on my case. They didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear, they told me what I needed to hear. They patiently explained every detail and every step throughout the process. Though my situation wasn’t delightful, it was calming and reassuring having the expertise, knowledge, and personal touch in which they offered. So much so, I called upon them for a second time. Digging myself into a much deeper abyss, they were my life line; light at the end of the tunnel. This case much more intense then the previous, their counseling was even greater than the previous. At times I felt as though I was running into battle with no re-enforcement, bombarded by the other council. But their genuine reassurance gave me strength to keep fighting. Keeping me informed of every piece of information transpired, calling just to check on me, giving me assignments to feel a part of the case, and just merely smiling when I walked in the office gave me a peace that passes all understanding. They were my calm in the midst of a storm. A divorce and custody battle is something that I wish upon no individual. Mr. Jones misrepresented himself in so many aspects and did such a poor job that a review is not enough to describe. Right now I am dealing with the fact that he failed to put in the temporary orders that once my son became an adult I should stop paying child support for him. I am paying his college and his mother is pocketing the extra thanks to Mr. Jones. Don't trust when he tells you that he is experienced when seems to be asking people what to do. That is what he did when the petitioner had cameras inside the house and he was asking what to do to the company. Quite frankly I found out the process in a few days rather than 40 years. Of course when you charge someone to learn why not keep going. He lied to me in many occasions which is not what a Lawyer is supposed to do. A very disorganized office with dogs walking through it. The dogs are nice though. When I called the office the retainer was going to be $ 5,000.00 dollars. When they heard my wife's attorney Lynette Terry it went up to $ 10,000.00 dollars. However when he spoke with me it became $ 15,000.00 dollars. Interesting the exact same amount she charged her. Coincidence? He withdraw from my case when I notified the FBI a GPS was found in my car. I do not recommend this Lawyer. I do not think he should be practicing law if he lies to his clients. And trust me he will play with your emotional aspect of divorce with stupid things that will not matter at the end. I have interviewed other lawyers in Houston as I realized that the buddy system may work in Angleton. All of them had a set initial retainer rate that was the same. None of them was like Mr. Jones $ 5,000,00 to $ 10,000.00 then somehow to $ `15,000.00 that matches the petitioner's retainer. Really? I consider legal malpractice failing to defend my interests. I have sent him a request demanding an explanation how a lawyer with such a vast experience made the mistake to "forget" to place in the temporary order that once the child becomes an adult then child support would be modified. That is costing me a lot of money, son more than $ 10,000,00. So unless you want to waste you money like I am being forced to do I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER. I am evaluating if I can file a claim in the small claims court against such lawyer to recover money lost due to his lack of competence and professionalism in my case.

Mark and Sue are an amazing legal team that I am very grateful to have found. They kept me informed throughout the process, answered every question and guided me through tough decisions. Mark is a phenomenal lawyer and Sue is more knowledgeable than most other lawyers. It was completely worth every penny.
