Scott Brown did not represent me, another lawyer at his law firm did. The lawyer that represented me was very forgetful and at times inadequate. I don't know if this person just had too much on their plate or what the issue was. I feel like in my case my lawyer was lucky when it came to the outcome. Which might've been as decent as it was because of my clean record. Frankly, I think that a court appointed lawyer would've got me the same outcome, maybe even better. I'm not really disappointed in the outcome of my case as much as I am of the money I felt that I was robbed of. My lawyer didn't show up to my first court date, emailed me saying that my case was dismissed only to find out that he sent the email to the wrong person, forgot about things he had already told me, and a lot of things just didn't add up. When my case was over he told me that my license would be suspended for 90 days....well I found out later, through the DPS website, that it's actually 6 months. There were a lot of situations like that where he would say one thing but it'd really be another. He hardly ever followed up with me, except when I would call, and even then it was just to go over the same things we went over the last time we spoke. I do believe that people make mistakes, but for the amount of money that people dish out into things like this...mistakes are not affordable. And it's a lawyers job to represent someone the best way they can. I was hesitant to write a review, based on the fairness of the other lawyers that work in this law firm, but it also wouldn't be fair to those that are in need of someone to represent them. No one deserves to be taken for granted like that.

Scott Brown and his associates were SO very helpful with my case. They made sure every question or concerned was answered. Scott's main concern was the safety for my child!! His legal assistant is amazing also! Highly recommend them....

We hired Scott Brown & Associates in June of 2015 for a family law case. We went to a court hearing January of 2016 and we were requesting to get the case dismissed. The Brazoria County prosecutor was not willing to dismiss it by any means. We were set to go to trial Feb 1. Scott and his partner Charles worked diligently and professionally on getting the case dismissal approved. We got a call today saying that the dismissal was granted! We couldn't be happier with who we chose as an attorney to represent us! Thank you Scott Brown and Associates for your amazing work! We highly recommend Scott Brown and Associates. As a divorced father I went from weekend dad, 50/50 custody, to full time custody of my kids. It was a long and hard fight but Scott knew exactly what to do for us to win. I hired Mr. Roberts to represent me for a divorce. I could not be happier with the services rendered by TJ and his staff. TJ is great at setting real expectations, doesn't sugar coat the truth, and will do his absolute best at getting you the results you are looking for. He treats all his clients as if he was representing his own family member. Talented in the courtroom. Extremely knowledgeable in the dirty tactics other divorce attorneys use, and cuts them off before they even take root. Exceeded my expectations!! Hopefully I will not have to get another divorce, but if I do, there is no one else I would rather have representing me!
