Tommy Carter was my divorce attorney, I had to call him to find out basic information about my case, as he didn't try contacting me with info, once I was finally able to get a hold of him, he finally started replying with info somewhat regularly. He never tried fighting for anything in my favor, despite evidence I had. Anytime I argued a point about my ex, he ignored it, and did things the way he wanted to, just to finish the case quickly. He allowed my ex to make stipulations and requests that go against current real estate laws and forced me to essentially do double the work, and spend unneeded money just to keep my house, or acquiesce and sell it. He did nothing as an attorney and just met her arguments and requests with what were essentially just a, yeah fine whatever...just finish this so I can get paid and move on. I would like to add, that I didn't have some unique case, it was pretty basic and straightforward. My ex and I had no kids, she hadn't worked throughout the entire marriage until the very end, and the only asset was the house. I bought the house with my VA loan, and only had her on it, because it was easier for the loan office. Tommy did absolutely nothing in this case and by the time I realized he was worthless as an attorney, I was already too highly invested. He had hidden fees that we're never mentioned in the retainer agreement, and he ended up costing me nearly 6 grand for absolutely nothing. He was the worst attorney and I share this not out of my own benefit, but to try and prevent anyone else in a similar situation from using him...please find someone different, I wish I had. I will never use him again and will do what I can to prevent others from doing the same. He will overcharge you and basically do nothing. Please choose someone else.

The absolute worse law firm I had to go physically to their office several times because “we will call you back” got old after no one EVER called back! No communication at all only want to do their jobs if you get upset and put fire under them. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAW FIRM TO ANYONE!!

Worst lawyers ever I get that their case loads are large but it's been 3 months now of o we will call you back and no one calls terrible communication. Then they don't even wanna do their job till you get irate with them don't use them as your personal injury lawyer go to frankel or abbot but not David kohm
