The 1 star reviews are real and they are warranted. Just like another reviewer, I expressed that I needed to keep costs down and that I was willing to help make that happen. I was assured that my case was just about a sure thing and that I had nothing to worry about. However, they made sure to empty my pockets by billing for nondescript and baseless "hours" which turned out to be 1 sentence emails that were not needed or 20 second voicemails by a paralegal. By the way, the paralegal's hourly rate was on par with the average attorney's hourly rate in a metro area. Not to mention, I was blindsided during the trial with questions that I had not been prepared to answer or to even expect. I was assured that I would be refunded any remaining funds from the retainer at the onset only to later be asked to refresh the retainer in the full amount because hours were billed by 2 separate people doing the same meaningless task. They will take advantage of you (bill whatever they can) unless you watch and monitor every step.

Attorney Bloodshaw and her team truly stand out. She's not only extremely knowledgeable, but also has a real talent for making complex matters clear and understandable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. She kept me well-informed, always taking the time to guide me through the ins and outs of the process. As for her team and the firm, they're great at communication and easy to get ahold of.
