When my wife and I decided to get married, we knew that immigration was going to be an issue we needed to address. We spent a lot of time attempting to figure out the logistics of when and where we would get married to comply with immigration laws. We had a plan and thought we knew what we were doing, but we hit a major immigration snafu in our planning that almost resulted in the two of us being separated. Months later, and after many steps in the immigration process, my wife received a letter in the mail. She had been approved for Permanent Resident status. I can't even begin to describe the relief we both felt after 18 months of stress and worry. My wife's future in the US was at stake, and it was finally over, she made it through. It's hard to put in words how much we appreciate all that Jason has done for us. For me, it feels like he gave us our life back after many months and so much uncertainty. Jason was always just a phone call or an email away, and we felt truly supported.
