Extremely hard to get in contact with. Very short on conversations and hard to get solid info. Had to hire a new lawyer and spend more money. Gerry kept the $5k and basically did NOTHING. Terrible waste of time and money in my opinion. Based on my experience with this firm, I would venture to say the other bad review is a legitimate one.

Jason took care of my case expeditiously! I am from another city and needed something to be resolved in Austin during this COVID period. However, he was able to take care of the process and answer my questions promptly over Zoom, or phone call. To say Jason is amazing would be an understatement, and I would recommend hiring him to be your attorney because you would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't.

I was charged with DWI in January of 2019. When I was looking for a lawyer, I had never been in trouble with the law my whole life. When I called Jason's office, he directed me immediately as to what the next steps were in the process, how much it was to retain his services, and guided me until my first court date. I was scared, embarrassed, and really didn't know what I was doing and Jason took care of everything. My case took 10 months from start to finish and Jason was by my side the entire time. He worked hard to plead my case from a Class A down to a Class B and no probation. I was shocked. I really thought I was going to get handed "the book" because of my alcohol content level. There aren't enough words to express my gratitude to Jason. Everything was handled and I will be forever grateful. I would recommend Jason to anyone with legal troubles. He's very well known and respected by the judges and the court system.

He is professional and a caring person.. turned a horrible situation for me into a tolerable one, and with the best outcome possible...all charges were dropped!! It doesn't get any better than that. Doug represented me when I was accused of Assault Family Violence. My entire career was on the line, and I’m forever thankful I turned to Doug for help. Doug beat the government prosecutors so bad they gave up on the second day of trial. He always returns calls and emails and he worked with me on payments. I would definitely hire Doug again.

I was falsely accused of fraud, embezzlement and tampering with government records. Doug steered me through the whole ordeal. He convinced the prosecutors that I was not at fault and there was never any intent to break any laws. The prosecutors dropped the case.

After learning that my 18 yr. old son had been arrested for assault, I contacted Jason English and explained the circumstances. Being new to the justice system I was concerned. I was initially upset and very intimidated by the actions taken by local law enforcement to issue a warrant built entirely on hearsay. I was explained very sufficiently what the next steps would be and that for the most part it would be a waiting game. Jason was quick to respond to my questions either by phone or email. I never felt like I was trying to hunt him down. I will say the initial retainer was hard to swallow, but he worked with me on a payment plan and I was able to pay the remainder out in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend Jason English to any one that is looking for criminal defense. Although I hope to not ever need his services again, I'm glad I went with him and had the outcome that we did.
