I wish I would have found Mr. Cofer sooner!!! Having never dealt with the criminal/juvenile system I had no idea was I was dealing with. I though hiring the only attorney that was certified in juvenile law in Bell County would be the best attorney to help my son. Unfortunately it was the worst mistake I’ve probably ever made. When my son had to go back to court our previous experience made me super hesitant to retain another attorney. It took less than 2 weeks to know I couldn’t have found a better attorney. Between Heather having previous experience as a juvenile corrections officer & Mr. Cofer’s knowledge, they are truly a dream team! They went to the detention facility to see my son within days of retaining them, always kept me updated on what was going on & I was able to reach Heather or Rick every time I called. Heather even called regularly to check on my son & encourage him! Most importantly, Rick got my son out of detention almost immediately (they were dead set on holding him in detention) & ended up getting everything dropped, without my son or I even having to go to court! Do not let previous experiences or cost make you hesitant to retain Mr. Cofer. I can assure you that not all attorneys are equal & you likely won’t get a 2nd chance at fighting the charges.

Mr Cofer was assigned to me as a court appointed attorney. In the past I have had poor/ sub par experiences with court appointed attorneys, but this time was far from that. Mr Cofer and his team went above and beyond to get my case resolved, and ultimately got all 3 of my charges dismissed. The crazy part too was the fact that they made it so easy! I literally had to do nothing other than to check in with my pre trial officer and stay out of trouble while they fought my case. I never actually had to go into court physically myself, they always went on my behalf. They talked to all the people they needed to until it ended up getting dismissed. Well done on their part especially considering they were a court appointed attorney for me. 10/10 would recommend to anybody looking for a straight forward, hardworking lawyer to fight their case. Cofer & Connelly has very friendly staff. I was very impressed with how responsive and supportive they all were. Megan and Heather walked me through everything I needed in order to take care of my case and helped to keep my mind at ease. I would definitely recommend Rick and his team to anyone who needs help with the unfortunate situation of dealing with the courts. Don't do it alone, put your mind at ease with help from very knowledgeable and friendly people who are genuinely concerned with the outcome of your situation.

The Rick and Cofer team has done wonderful Job on taking care of my case. On behalf of all the things going on through time of my casing we’ve manage to dismiss the case in a period of time and with just not violating any more traffic laws case dismiss. It has been a long journey and process but I can finally say thank you Cofer&Connnelly for backing me up on this lengthy process that we were able to dismiss terrific and amazing job on handling my case

This was the nicest service i ever received my case got dismissed today!. It was very easy and fast (Covid made the delay longer) I'm so happy and relieved to get this weight off my shoulders. Having Rick Cofer from Cofer & Connelly has been a blessing and a great experience. I know having a great experience while having a looming case over your head sounds strange, but that is exactly how I feel. I was arrested and thrown into jail for a misdemeanor assault charge and a felony assault charge on a peace officer. While figuring out my options in jail, I was surprised to have a visit from Rick. He said I had nothing to worry about. He even came and visited me in Sedona AZ, where I was sent post bail. Trust is something I don’t normally provide to people, my view point is not to trust anyone, I learned that in Business and from my MBA program. However Rick has proven to me that there are trustworthy people in the world and I am happy to have gotten both of my cases dismissed. This is why I feel this was a great experience with this individual and his team. Thank you again!
