I hired The Pace firm which referred me to Kelly Gier. They never disclosed and refused to disclose the referral agreement after my file was referred to her outside the firm to Kelly. I was lead to believe that Kelly was apart of The Pace Firm. It is required by law to disclose these referral agreements if the attorney is outside of the firm actually hired. Also, they The Pace Firm and Kelly Gier have still not handed over my client file to the attorney now handling my legal matters. The file was requested in August, 2019, so it has been over 1 year and 6 months ago. Again, this is required by law and it shows you the true colors of Kelly although I can only hope that this is being caused by The Pace Firm and not Kelly. Regarding the contract, it stated a fee and I received invoices for different amounts later on. Kelly refused my calls multiple times until I finally had to simply go to another attorney due to her lack of response. Luckily, I kept recordings of the initial conversations regarding fees and working with The Pace Firm and Kelly. I was able to confirm the promise of fees was in fact not the same as what was being demanded I pay. The contract with The Firm even has a non-disparagement clause, which is unethical and a major red flag. Non-disparagment clauses violate provisions per the law.

So many good things to say about Kelly. She has great communication, knows what she's talking about, and will certainly help you achieve the best outcome possible. Working with her was super easy.

I have not decided whether to have Kelly represent me today, and I am writing this review because she has seen first hand what a so called respected attorney has done to me in Williamson County. She has worked with me on the price of representation and appears to be a solid attorney. She has adequately explained the charges that are being brought forth and has tried to break down the legal system stance on what they will do to me fairly and honestly without telling me that she would get this dismissed like my last attorney. She is definitely a contender and cares about your outcome I think. I will make up my mind by this morning and update my review accordingly.

Kelly Gier was my attorney on a relatively serious criminal defense case where I was being charged on a 2nd degree felony. From the moment I first consulted with her after consulting several other attorneys, I knew she would be the one to handle my case. She is very poised, knowledgeable and in my case supportive towards my concerns and maltreatment from the Austin PD. She listens, advises, and understands the entire system. From her bio and experience I know she is also of great moral character and believes in what is right. She got into this profession sparked by passion for justice and if you trust in her I know she will do her best with positive results. I cannot thank her or recommend her enough for what she did for me. The results of her work for me lead to the DA rejecting all charges and me getting my freedoms back. Thank you Kelly!!!

Kellie made routine visits tome while I was incarcerated. Most court appointed attorneys will only visit or call you the day prior to court.she kept me informed and most importantly, got my case dismissed.

Kelly Gier goes above and beyond for her clients. She is the only person that I would have represent me or any of my loved ones in court. Lawyers can come off as very cold and not willing to understand your case, this is not Kelly Gier, she understands that every situation is different and dedicates herself to finding the best outcome for you. I am very happy with the fact that things worked out even better than I had hoped. Kelly’s is top notch in my book. I'll definitely be calling her in the future if the need arises. Her professionalism, incredible understanding of the law, and outstanding negotiation skills makes Kelly’s an excellent choice when seeking a legal professional that can help Austinites navigate through our often complicated legal system. Kelly achieved the best possible result for our son. But not only that, Kelly went out of her way to communicate with us regularly and timely about the status of his case, and his way forward. I highly recommend Attorney Kelly Grier for any juvenile case. I went to her at a desperate moment. Meeting Kelly, was truly eye-opening as her professionalism in what she does is sharp and outstanding! Kelly went above and beyond for me. I had to deal with my case from another city and the driving back and forth was to much. Kelly made everything easy to understand and talked me through everything I had to do. I honestly didn’t think I was gonna have a positive outcome but kelly got my cases dismissed!
