This guy is a DISGRACE to the legal profession. He set my case back and made me look bad by failing to represent me properly and then quitting precipitously. I got his name from the Bar Association (and I'm going to file a complaint with them too). He pretended to be willing to take my case against Pimentel & Sons Guitar Company of Albuquerque who owes me $6,250 and is refusing to pay it. He said he'd charge me $750 to write a 90-day notice letter for a District Court lawsuit, and would charge me a retainer of $2200 to handle the case. I asked if we could start with the letter, and he said yes - but he never wrote the letter and in a four-letter f-bombed angry tirade insulted me - he told me I was an idiot essentially for wanting to sue for JUST (JUST to him!) $6,250 and he didn't want to handle the case. He said he'd call the opposing counsel if I wanted. I said sure. They lied and sent a bogus document claiming they'd paid me the refund (they hadn't) and Vickers got real huffy on me, saying something akin to "Send me EVERY VISA statement from the time you paid them the money to today" - which I did, which he passed along to the opposing counsel. I wish I had known he was then going to go on a hissy fit and quit ('cause the case was too small for him) 'cause I would NEVER have allowed him to send my VISA statements to opposing counsel. His excuse for begging off the case was that he wasn't prepared to handle the fraud of the document sent us by opposing counsel but that was just so much baloney. Nasty, unprofessional, unhelpful, hurtful - AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS!!!
