Hembree Bell handled my divorce. Overall the legal team did a great job. They were knowledgeable and ultimately got me an outcome I was seeking. That said, I’m regretting hiring the firm because the finance/service/business side has been a nightmare to deal with. Trying to update payment methods, get info, get my retainer back, etc. is like pulling teeth. They never respond to emails. I had to call multiple times and still would not get a call back. I’d eventually have to go through my legal team, costing money to get anyone’s attention. I even addressed these concerns on one of the service calls they’d do just to see how the firm is doing, and still no change. Obviously the legal team is the most important factor in a divorce, but you need a good service team too, and frankly they’ve only created a headache.

I was fortunate enough to have selected a very gifted and talented team tailored for my every need. Sarah Pilkington and Amanda Mangrum are the pinnacle of professional and ultimate service. For my Discovery I was very discouraged. It was overwhelming and I did not believe in myself to accomplish it. Amanda was so very patient and became a mentor. Amanda was so patient and her instructions were exact. I would become irritated, and Amanda with her soothing patience and kindness would speak with me with such patience and encouragement and politeness she would reverse my momentum and I would be able to complete the task. Sarah Pilkington is tough and demanded that I comply. As the process moved on, I learned her toughness and demand to comply not only applied to me but everyone she was dealing business with. And that meant the opposing attorney and her client, my ex-wife would comply also and believe me we all complied. Sara made sure I had every I and “T” crossed. Some 220 parcels later and around 700 pages of discovery Sara gave her approval and moved forward with confidence and great success. Sarah and Amanda both instilled in me that they were not here for me just for business, but supported me and lifted me in my lowest and darkest moments. I’ve never had the pleasure of being so blessed in a difficult business manner to have been on a team of such high caliber. “God blessed me with this team. I am most thankful”. Amen ❤️. I enjoyed so much poking at Sara and reminding her how fantastic and how handsome I am. And she would always reply “ And your humble too Kimbo…”. And that in a nutshell is my team. I do love you dearly, Kimbo.
