Chris Kirker has been working on my child custody case for about 10 months now. He is the only lawyer I feel comfortable working with because he tells the facts, and not just what I want to hear in an attempt to make an extra dollar. There have often been times where my emotions took over and Chris was always very honest about the most affordable and effective route for us to take, however he did give me options about how we could proceed and then helped me weigh the pro's and con's of each option. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable regarding family law and what I could realistically expect as an outcome. He made sure I understood everything that was going on in my case at all times from a financial and a strategic standpoint. He is also very responsive and gets back to me as quickly as he can. We have had many conversations after his working hours because I don't get off until 6 pm and I have a difficult schedule to work around, however Chris has contacted me multiple times after hours and even e-mailed me updates on the weekend. I would not step into a courtroom with anyone but Chris Kirker. He emanates confidence, intelligence and professionalism. I am still working with him and have the utmost trust in his decisions and advice, because everything he has done with my case so far has yielded the exact and/or best results I could have hoped for. In 2014, I was the respondent in a divorce suit. This event came very suddenly and without my anticipation. I had to find an attorney fairly quickly, as a first court action was scheduled the following week. Of course, it isn't easy to find representation in a short time frame. I got referrals from a number of individuals who had recently gone through a divorce. Mr. Kirker was one one of those referrals. I brought a written statement of my situation and my goals for the outcome of the divorce proceedings when I first interviewed Mr. Kirker. My interview with him was far better than the others - responsive and engaging. I chose Mr. Kirker to represent me. One objective was to keep the process as positive as possible. I wanted to handle the situation objectively, fairly, and keep open the possibility of reconciliation. This may not be the usual case, but that outcome is not possible in an overly negative environment. Mr. Kirker understood my objectives and helped navigate the trade off in due diligence of execution of the divorce process, while keeping things positive. In the end, this paid off, as my spouse and I have recently ended the divorce proceedings with a reconciliation, and things are moving ahead in a positive manner. I believe this desired outcome would not have been possible with many attorneys. Mr. Kriker's focus on my desired goals, while handling the legality of the process enabled the final outcome that I now enjoy.

We had a long, eventful divorce with the other side throwing a lot at us and he navigated us through it all easily. I feel like he really cares about what happened to us - which is important when children are involved. I can honestly say that we wouldn't have gotten through it all without him. He came prepared with an excellent strategy - I left the courtroom impressed and glad he's on my side. Definitely recommend him to everyone I know who needs a lawyer.

Chris helped me out on two separate occasions, giving me sound advice both times. The first time he helped me was when I needed some advice on getting a prenuptial agreement. Now although I live in California and Chris practices in Texas, he was able to give me a good starting point as to how to achieve my desired goal. In addition, after I had gone through the process of signing the prenup with my (future) wife, he glanced at it and gave me his opinions. I was very happy to have had Chris as a sounding board. In addition, I recently spoke to Chris regarding a business venture that I was going to be starting, again in California. I wanted to get his knowledge on the subject and how I should approach it out in California. Our call lasted about 20 mins or so, and he guided me towards avvo.com in order to research a few attorneys practicing in the area of law that I needed and to get their advice. At no point did he say for sure what would happen in my case, since this was not his area of expertise. I greatly appreciated Chris' time and knowledge and would recommend him to anyone who needs some help.

Chris Kirker championed my cause as if it was his own, he was patient and kind through out years of drama filled drawn out court hearings, and was able to considtently sail us through any obstacles that were thrown our way. His keen sense of what to expect saved us from countless scenarios, where other lawyers (ahem, the opposing side) would have overcharged their client for needles services- this gave me a lot of faith because every step he took was incredibly effective in winning my case. He is truly a hero; I will both go to him if my family needs saving again and have already been recommending him to everyone I know.
