Ran into a problem with a lot I'm looking to purchase in an hoa and needed legal advice. I called the office and the secretary connected me right away to Bill. Bill Gammon was a life saver. My husband and I received a call the night before we closed on our home that we would not be able to purchase the home because it apparently was still in probate. At this point, we had already rented our other house out so had no where to go. Bill came in quickly and worked with us to negotiate a rental agreement with the owners until the probate was complete, while still honoring the original sales contract we had in place. Three years later, we were finally able to purchase the home and at the same purchase price we had negotiated originally. Bill provided me with a free consultation regarding a foreclosure with my mortgage company. I'd been on forbearance during Covid but just as I was to make my first trial payment on a loan modification, I lost my job and was unable to make the payment. First thing Bill asked was what my goals were. To try and save a house I really no longer needed by bringing my account current or sell the house, get my equity out, and just enjoy my life going forward! Turned out we actually had a lot in common. From past histories of learning different programming languages, to dealing with a parent in assisted living. He also has lots of great contacts from tax experts to reputable Real Estate agents. With Bill's help, I'd pretty much come to the conclusion I should sell my house and move on. To make a long story short, my mortgage company unexpectedly called me the following day and offered another loan modification (which I gladly accepted) in order to keep my house. Will probably still sell it eventually but at least I have some time to get things in order.
