Micah and his team are phenomenal at what they do. MIcah is very diligent about helping keep you calm during a daunting process. He not only holds you accountable to what you say is the right thing, he will push to make sure you are keeping the long term abreast of mind especially when there are children involved. There were times I confused how calm he is in the pocket with a lack of aggressiveness, but that couldn't be further from the case. When it was crunch time, he delivered without me having to compromise my principles. Micah and his team also push the most amicable way to solve issues which you may not feel good during the process, but means the world when it is over. I would highly recommend Micah and his support team especially Kimberly.

This review is long over due. There is no way to put into words how wonderful my experience was with Micah and Kim. Divorce was the most difficult life experience I’ve ever had to navigate. The thoughtful and caring guidance I received helped me maintain my sanity throughout the process. I was an emotional mess and unable to make decisions. I appreciated the calm and calculated approach to handling the seemingly endless and often ridiculous attacks from the Ex. Despite the circumstances I actually looked forward to meeting with my team. I can honestly say that I miss seeing my new friends at this office. Possibly more importantly, my case was settled efficiently and ethically. They say only lawyers win in court but everyone involved knows I WON this one. Micah came through in a huge way for me. I’ve passed his card on three times. I’ll continue to do so.

Let's be honest, being involved in any kind of family law case is not fun! It's emotional, frustrating, expensive and lots of other adjectives. Micah was the fifth attorney that I met with. Three other local, respected family law attorneys spoke very highly of Micah to me. I consider this an important factor to take into account when hiring an attorney. My case was full of twists and turns and at different moments, over many months, different possible outcomes came into play. I found Micah to be very knowledgeable of the law and its application. He has a great ability to unpack all of the legal jargon in a practical way. He was thorough in explaining all my options and helping me weigh the impact of each one. In all of our appearances, Micah was well prepared and able to quickly and seamlessly shift gears when the situation compelled. I noticed a common theme of genuine care and compassion in Micah's previous reviews. I can give a big AMEN to that. I felt heard, understood and that the best interest of my family was his focus. However, don't think this kind, compassionate, law nerd isn't a total fighter when the situation calls for it. His compassion manifests into well-spoken, well-written persuasive passion when the time comes! He is a skilled litigator and somehow nice guy turns intimidating when the pressure is on. Just saying, sometimes that is needed. Yet, it was done with the utmost of integrity, as an advocate of the truth. I use to complain about how costly an attorney can be but after that experience I am convinced they are not paid enough! My family and I are forever grateful. Kim, Micah's paralegal, was an integral person for me throughout. Her availability, knowledge and warmth were dependable and reassuring. In keeping with the culture of this team, I would add that all my interactions with other Coldwell Bowes staff was as pleasant as a trip to Chick-fil-A. That's saying something!

What is normally a fairly simple process was unsurprisingly challenging due to the other party, but Micah and his paralegal, Kim, took a very trying situation and handled it with care and ease. Micah Royer represented me through my divorce case and has been very helpful solving this painful and exhausting time in my life. Very unethical firm that pads the hours. Charlie is extremely hostile and created an enormous amount of stress in an already stressful time of life. I was billed $7000 for very little work, for example I was billed almost $2000 to read a 20 page document that did not receive a response. I should have sought a refund, and reported Charlie to the Bar Association, but it did not fit into my life at the time of my turmoil. My case was very extreme and I felt as though Charlie saw an easy way to victimize someone under significant duress. After this I sought other counsel from Daryl Weinman and learned more in 1 hour than I did with Charlie after $7000. Charlie makes you feel as though you are the enemy and comes off with his tough love act as he berates you. His advice was terrible in retrospect when seeking other counsel. Supposedly Charlie Bowes has a reputation for being “overly prepared”, which is lawyer speak for he is a notorious bill padder. STAY AWAY
