I was introduced to Keith by a certified financial planner (CFP). Right from the beginning, I was given the explanation of what's required on my part to complete the task. During the process, I was kept in the loop with every development. Not only that, I was given multiple opportunities to go through the drafts. In my case, several modifications were needed based on my particular needs. Above all, Keith personally communicated with me on the phone as I needed. When I was completely comfortable and satisfied, then only did he move with the final version. His professional fees are also very reasonable. With certainty, I would seek his service as further needs arise. I highly recommend his law firm.

My wife and I utilized Keith for our first ever official estate/family planning documents. We were under a time crunch as we were moving out of country. Keith worked on our paperwork while he was himself on vacation to ensure we had everything we needed prior to our departure. We highly recommend Keith based on our personal experience.

If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. And I unfortunately got stuck with him 2 times. The first was for a divorce. He failed miserably time after time. Then I was hit with a surprise. I showed up at the courthouse with my ex wife willing to sign all paperwork to give me full custody of my children. Unfortunately when we walked up to the clerk to turn it in I was hit with an unfortunate surprise. Despite me firing him after my divorce; he was still listed as my attorney on record. Therefore requiring me to either hire him to basically turn in paperwork or have him write a letter of resignation to the court. When I called him and told him what was going on and that I had the Paperwork ready to go he requested I let him file it for me. Apologizing for the poor representation during my divorce. And yet again due to more mistakes; he showed up to court with the entire parent termination under the wrong cause number. Thankfully the judge said he could send it in corrected and the judge would sign off on it. And yet again another mistake. The paperwork was not sent to the attorney general. This paperwork not only forgave me of child support for the several years the children had already been living with me; but also allowed me to include the children on tax returns. Due to him not filing with the attorney general; my next years tax return was garnished by the attorney general. It took me 6 months and I only was able to get half of it back. It’s an insult to his profession and the human race for this person to represent anyone. Steer clear of R Alan Mason. Continued: 01/10/2024 After moving several times since the completion of the termination of my ex wife's parental rights I managed to misplace the documents regarding this cause number. I contacted the court to request a certified copy. Due to this being a parental rights termination this file is sealed and requires the attorney on record to open it for me to have a copy. As listed above I have requested on more than 1 occasion that Alan Mason remove himself as the attorney on record and he has failed to do so. Therefore requiring me once again to contact him for a copy of the documents. I contacted him and after a short conversation he not only attempted to get more money from me but has yet to provide the court permission for me to obtain a copy or provide me a copy. I decided to research my email history from that time frame. Luckily I found the PDF for the cause number. I sent a copy to the court to verify it was correct and appropriate proof of the cause number. They validated it was correct. R Alan Mason is an example of failed ethics as an attorney and a human being. No shame in this man. The judicial system would be a much better place without him in it.

Keith did a great job coaching me through the Executorship process in Texas and represented me in court during the legal process of obtaining executorship. He answered my questions and took care of the bigger things for me in court. Keith made the process much easier and less worrisome in an already stressful period after my father passed away. What I also liked was the one-time, all-encompassing fee he charged to help me with the legal aspects I needed to fulfill as executor. There was no worrying or wondering about how many hours I would be billed after the process was complete. I knew the costs upfront. There are some legal procedures you have to know to be an executor in Texas. It's better with an estate attorney. I recommend giving Keith a call.
