Mr. Evans is an amazing attorney with a world of experience. Like everyone, I thought my divorce was going to go one way. Unfortunately, it quickly took a turn. At that point, I was thrilled to have the Evans Family Law Team in my corner. They were able to adjust to the changing situation, and they explained all of my options in a way that helped me make the decisions necessary to finalize things. I’m extremely satisfied with the service I received, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing assistance with family law.

Jimmy was hired to replace a previous attorney that was handling my mother's case that had been going on for nearly 2 years without results. We retained EFLG in July and they finalized my mother's divorce before Christmas. The experience with Jimmy and Ashley S. was completely different - Thank God! Professional, knowledgeable, responsive, compassionate, transparent, efficient and highly competent. Because of their efforts, my mother can finally move forward with her life. We highly recommend them.

I brought Jimmy Evans on somewhat late in my divorce proceedings, but he immediately started working for me. He and the rest of the Evans team got things back on track and moving toward a close. I can't say that the Evans firm made my divorce fun, but they certainly made it a lot less painful! Would recommend.

If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. And I unfortunately got stuck with him 2 times. The first was for a divorce. He failed miserably time after time. Then I was hit with a surprise. I showed up at the courthouse with my ex wife willing to sign all paperwork to give me full custody of my children. Unfortunately when we walked up to the clerk to turn it in I was hit with an unfortunate surprise. Despite me firing him after my divorce; he was still listed as my attorney on record. Therefore requiring me to either hire him to basically turn in paperwork or have him write a letter of resignation to the court. When I called him and told him what was going on and that I had the Paperwork ready to go he requested I let him file it for me. Apologizing for the poor representation during my divorce. And yet again due to more mistakes; he showed up to court with the entire parent termination under the wrong cause number. Thankfully the judge said he could send it in corrected and the judge would sign off on it. And yet again another mistake. The paperwork was not sent to the attorney general. This paperwork not only forgave me of child support for the several years the children had already been living with me; but also allowed me to include the children on tax returns. Due to him not filing with the attorney general; my next years tax return was garnished by the attorney general. It took me 6 months and I only was able to get half of it back. It’s an insult to his profession and the human race for this person to represent anyone. Steer clear of R Alan Mason. Continued: 01/10/2024 After moving several times since the completion of the termination of my ex wife's parental rights I managed to misplace the documents regarding this cause number. I contacted the court to request a certified copy. Due to this being a parental rights termination this file is sealed and requires the attorney on record to open it for me to have a copy. As listed above I have requested on more than 1 occasion that Alan Mason remove himself as the attorney on record and he has failed to do so. Therefore requiring me once again to contact him for a copy of the documents. I contacted him and after a short conversation he not only attempted to get more money from me but has yet to provide the court permission for me to obtain a copy or provide me a copy. I decided to research my email history from that time frame. Luckily I found the PDF for the cause number. I sent a copy to the court to verify it was correct and appropriate proof of the cause number. They validated it was correct. R Alan Mason is an example of failed ethics as an attorney and a human being. No shame in this man. The judicial system would be a much better place without him in it.

Excellent service. Great with communication from all members of the team. Whether it be multiple attorneys, finance, legal assistants etc. They made my husband and I feel 100% comfortable with all proceedings. We live out state with a 3 hour time difference and they made it work. I would definitely recommend the Evans Family Law Group.

Jimmy Evans is smart, easy to reach and did a good job on our agreed divorce. He did not add on superfluous charges which we appreciated. Unfortunately, his assistant/secretary was not at all accurate or on top of things. This resulted in numerous misspellings on Jimmy’s drafts and a misspelling of both of our names on an official document that she filed with the court. And Jimmy charges $175/hour for her work! With an adequate assistant Jimmy’s firm would be great.
