The only negative I can say about using Lovins | Trosclair is that I wish I would have engaged them sooner than I did. That is on my end. I was not familiar with all that is involved in negotiating with 3rd party insurance companies for settlement and thought I could do it on my own. WRONG! However, I did get them involved and found them professional, informative about all issues as they came along and honest and ethical. Those are the key things you should look for in choosing legal representation should you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing it. They also communicated with me very well which helped ease any anxieties I might have had. Great job guys!

All I can say about Michael Lovins is that he was right on about my case. He was up front on my case being that it would be a tough one and that he would take it on and fight for me. Bonnie Nicole (Nikki) Hudman was exactly what I wanted and needed in a divorce lawyer. So often, we hear about contentious divorces in which the focus seems to be making the opposing party as miserable as possible. I did not want my case to be like that. Sure, making a cheating spouse go through all kinds of hell would be enormously satisfying; but, after all, that approach only serves to make everyone miserable and runs up your legal fees. I wanted a lawyer who is smart, someone who pays extraordinary attention to the details, and a lawyer who is professional and completely ethical. Nikki fulfilled all those requirements. I never doubted her loyalty to me. I know she had plenty of other clients, but she made me feel as though my case was of the utmost importance. I tried to not call or email her unless I really needed to; but when I did, she was very prompt to respond. When my case went to mediation, I was ready to give into demands from the opposing counsel. She looked me square in the face and said she would not let me do that. She said that I deserved more. Now, eight months later, I'm so happy she did that. I suppose we could have gone to trial to fight for an even greater percentage of the marital property, but Nikki clearly explained the possible benefits and the likely added expense.
