Monica is an amazingly accomplished and competent attorney. She is licensed to practice in Mexico AND in the United States, and she has practiced law in both countries. As a lawyer myself, I know that alone is a very impressive accomplishment. It also speaks to her advanced English language skills. These abilities and Monica's friendly nature and sensible and pragmatic approach to problem-solving result in excellent, yet affordable, legal services for people in the U.S. who need assistance in Mexico. I was referred to Monica to set up a Mexican (LLC-like) corporation to be used to purchase a home, as a means to avoid having to use the "fideicomiso" land trust option, which has its disadvantages. Monica walked me through the steps of forming the corporation then assisted me in purchasing a home near the beach in Baja California. With her help I saved thousands of dollars in the purchase process, which in this region can get very expensive with the blizzard of fees those involved in the real estate industry tack onto the home price. Meanwhile, Monica assisted me in obtaining Permanent Residency immigration status in a convenient and, considering one is dealing with a government agency, very timely fashion. She even put up with my speaking in Spanish during our conversions but would switch into her excellent English when needed to ensure I really understood the specifics of the transaction. Overall, Monica is competent, knowledgeable and friendly, and she helped me achieve the result I wanted, which I could not have achieved without her help. You really cannot ask for more.

In April 2023 I was wrongfully terminated after years of enduring gender and disability discrimination from my employer. I was devastated, I felt chewed up and spit out. I couldn’t believe that after nearly 4 years of tirelessly working for my employer, making their business profitable, my employer not only terminated me but attempted to blindside me into signing all of my legal rights away in exchange for a severance offer that was not reflective of my years of service and profit my employer gained from my talents.
