Would not under any other circumstance post anything publicly about needed help of this nature but wanted to warn others considering using Shannon Family Law. I decided to use them after a recommendation thru Unbundled Law Services, which is those seeking Family or other other Law help who cant afford one all out. Features under this method is Limited Scope or Unbundled services to name a few. I requested a limited scope service but stressed to Shannon about my limited amount of funds and stressed also that I have researched and educated myself in my area of need and just wanted assistance in making sure I have the correct filing forms in order for me to submit. During our initial free consultation, he attempted to use the same old line I assume he gives every client whom he deems as not knowing enough about the process, but re-itterated my level of understanding so that maybe he could change gears and maybe speed things along. That right there should of been the first big red flag in my face, but judging from the reviews I read and the Unbundled Law Services recommendation, I was sure that he could be of help. He told me how much he charged an hour which was $365 an hour or in neigborhood there of, and that $1500 would take care of the case with $750 up front, okay fine I paid that 3 days later having to borrow from family in order to do so. There after I dealt with Jodie whom upon waiting for the paper work decided to take the Friday off so Had to wait until the following week to get anything started which was anything but. It took about 3-4 attempts for me to send over a zip-file with all the information pertaining to my case I had compiled, when I inquired if she had recieved the files or not this 4th time and I also requested a timeline foe me to be able to hear something back concerning motions to submit, as I was prepared to submit another payment but something did feel not quite right. And as sure as my gut feeling, it has been going on 7 days til I have yet to hear anything back and have requested a full refund back as judging from what I have experienced so far, I am sure that I will be met by a its my fault reasoning. So now I am unable to attempt any kind of counsel representation to my issue and they have 85% of all the money I have towards obtaining one as well as borrowed money at that.I dont know where these reviews that I read from this law office came from, but to take money from someone who is dire need of family representation and not give a call or email as to the status of multiple request seems really unethical practice not to mention unempathitic and really heartless. So thanks for another set back your office has caused my daughter and I amongst many we have had to overcome so far. The far more gruesome of having to deal with, is seeking help from someone who is supposed to be specialized in this area and putting forth ones confidence in the very thing that matters the whole world only to get results such as this or the lack thereof. If you hold dear to that which you love and is important to you, look to put your confidence else where especially if you are limited in funds and promise to be helped by this office. I have done extensive research and have spent hours and hours education myself with regards to my case issues and only at the end to second guess myself and look for guidance from someone who rather take what little a person has and render them totally handicapped as now I cant even afford to submit any sort of paper work or motions on my own and much less so with not being able to work because of covid19, thanks alot shannon family law!

I can't say enough good things about Richard Shannon and Jodie. The first time I inquired about services, Mr. Shannon let me explain my situation and informed me of how complicated my case was( I knew it was but already had another experience with a different attorney that wasn't great). Mr. Shannon is always put together, extremely organized, knowledgeable, he knows his way around a court room, and kind and I appreciate that. I spoke and emailed quite a bit with Jodie, and she was so wonderful and knowledgeable about every question I had. I always heard back from her promptly (within minutes!). Great experience! I left my company of 12 years under unusual circumstances. They were withholding my final pay until I signed a release agreement. Natalie worked with the company's counsel to rewrite the agreement so that I gained the same level of protection and indemnification that the company had. She also ensured I received my final pay as part of the process. She’s great to work with, tells you everything you need to know, and does it in a manner you can easily understand.

I don't even know where to start... Mr. Shannon was and will always be a blessing for me and my children. He was not just my attorney he was there even in my more stressful situations throughout my divorce. I was able to just pick up the phone and call him when I was feeling devastated and lost, he always find the word to make me feel that everything was going to be alright. He continually reminded me of how strong of a woman I was and that I was able to be able to survive my storm. Mr. Shannon does really care for his client's well being, he is was always there when I need it to talk to someone about my very horrible divorce. He is very a professional attorney that will make you feel like part of his family. Even now, after my divorce was finalized he still sends emails asking about my children and mom's health and always having warm wishes for us. If you are looking for an attorney that will represent you right, that will not lie to you and that will be standing when you are feeling that you cannot handle the road.. I feel so bless to have found Mr.Shannon law office. Mr.Shannon is a great attorney. I been dealing with my ex serving me over and over again. Everytime I reach out to Mr.Shannon he always gives his time to listen and give me advice on what to do. Im thankful to have met him. Oh and Mrs. Katherine! Omg! this lady she's amazing.
