Bruce Baughman does not know what domestic violence is. I had a phone cord wrapped around my neckfrom soon to be ex husband, I had bruises on my legs from him kicking me. Bruce asked me in court on the stand “oh he didnt hit you that hard now did he ?

This attorney will fight tooth and nail for you and GETS THE JOB DONE TO YOUR SATISFACTION! I have first hand knowledge of this!!!

He is the absolutely the worst llawer I have ever used, left me in a waiting room during court told me he would be right back 45 mins later I went to look for him and the bailiff told me he left 30 mins ago. I not recommend him to anyone.

Went on a consultation today to get some answers....had to pay 50.00 before seeing and now I know why! He’s crap AND I HAVE NO CLUE AS TO WHY THIS AHole IS STILL IN BUSINESS. This was the WORST ENCOUNTER I HAVE EVER HAD. He’s VERY ABUSIVE. CALLED ME NAMES, treated myself and my mom like we were dumb and beneath him. Did not give any interest on my case and acted like we were a waste of his time....in fact he also told us we were. I promise you this condescending piece of poop is not worth anyone’s time! He may get the job done but there are other lawyers that can do the same without all the abuse that comes out this weak minded’s mouth. Nobody deserves to be treated the way we were. He’s a sorry excuse for a person.

If you want a best friend, this is not the guy for you. If you want somebody who is going to hold your hand, not for you. If you want somebody who knows what he is doing and is on top of his game, you have the right guy. He’s not cheap nor would I expect the best to be. Do your own prep work...save some money. He is not your therapist though he will listen and charge you accordingly. Be smart. hire him to do the work. Find a friend to do your whining.

30 years ago I went to see Bruce For a double paternity suit And child support case because my husband was a political figure and I had gone to a few other attorneys that told me that they would not go up against him Because it could prove to hurt them in their Careers if they did. Bruce and my husband had past history so Bruce was more than willing to go up against him. Yes it is true Bruce is rude and arrogant to his clients He even had a sign in his desk that said BOSS ( spelled backwards is double SOB) so you kinda got the gist right up front. I wanted to be amicable with my children’s father but Bruce let me know that he wasn’t concerned with me but he was there for my children to get them what they deserved. Each time we went into court and the judge ruled in my favor my husband would fire his attorney (3 in all during the process). But My children got a settlement and I got custody and child support. Which he didn’t pay so Bruce went for the garnishment. We win again. However my husband didn’t show for court because he was at the hospital doing a chemo session. Bruce didn’t care, he was in contempt for not showing. I begged Bruce to leave it be but was ignored as I found out when I received a call from my husband informing me that he was about to be arrested and taken to jail. Being who he was they allowed him to call me first. I called Bruce and had to actually fire him from my case to avoid my husbands arrest. Even though I feel Bruce does go to the extreme. He is one hell of a lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone. He gets the job done. He can be a bit pricey, but in my case at least, he took his fee out of the settlement with minimal up front as I just didn’t have it on the consult. Yes you have to be thick skinned in order to work with Bruce and deal with his arrogance but he gets the job done and I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone I come across that may need a good attorney in the same situation as I found myself. Mind you I do give fair warning to them as to Bruce’s “Sunny“ personality so that they just don’t totally get the wrong impression of him and put your trust in him that he will get you the results that your children need and deserve in the end.

I hired him because I heard he is tough and ruthless and gets results. My first consultation with Bruce, my ex was way behind on child support and had filed a motion to stop child support completely. Bruce told me he would file 2 counter suits and get the child support caught up and stop my ex from playing the games he was playing. He dragged everything out, never filed the counter suits, never had any information needed in court but he kept billing me like he’s was actually doing the things he told me he’d do. He was rude and condescending every time I talked to him. I didn’t receive court notifications until the last minute from his office. On one occasion, I never even received notice that I had a court date so I wasn’t there. The judge ultimately awarded in favor of my ex and said he no longer even needed to pay child support at all. I stood in court in complete disbelief. Bruce was awful. I kept receiving bills from his office for a year for the 2 countersuits that he never even filed. He is just out for money. Do not use him!

I hired him under the pretense of getting a divorce but when my husband and I reconciled he has yet to reimburse me a part of the $2,500 for filing a nonsuit. Do not use this guy... he’s a unethical lawyer.

I hired this lawyer for simple child support modification, he will drag everything and keep submitting unnecessary things to charge for more. I paid him over $10,000 and he didn't deliver what I asked him for. He is a liar and unethical person to say the least.

If what you are looking for is someone to nurse you through the divorce process, get a counselor. If you want to win in a vicious divorce or family custody matter, hire Bruce. Period.

I have used Bruce for about 25 years, he is the best of the very best, He would get a 10 or better on the scale. He gets the results you would hope to get. His daughter Kim is also working with him. She too is an excellent attorney

It was a very frustrating, offensive time that I paid this guy to be rude to me. He was ill informed every time we went to court, never had paperwork. The opposing attorney walked all over him and his response was to call me stupid and other names. Big waste of money and time, during a time I had neither to lose. His office staff seems scared of him, they constantly lose emails and paperwork and aren't up with technology that may help them be more organized.
