Her office will charge you an arm and a leg to just get you to mediation, encourage you to settle because it’s going to be at least 10k more to go to court, and then keep charging you more and more to get the final orders. Left this single mom with a good job living in a deficit without a care about it. I think all she cares about this point in her life is retiring and not her clients well being.

Anita was horrible!!! She took my daughters 7,500 retainer and did nothing for her. We went to court twice and did not even get to see the Judge bc she was not in the courtroom waiting for us to be called. We ended up agreeing to temporarily orders for visitation to avoid having to pay more for having to come back to court. She negotiated my daughters child support and got it raised but didn’t file it. She always seemed very scatterbrained! We did our first consultation with the paralegal NOT her and they were more thorough, but then when we met her, she would come in and took no notes and when talking to my daughter she was refer to my grandson as her daughter not son!! And when we were at the court house she treated my daughter like she wasn’t going to get what she wanted and even told her “ I told you a million times that he was going to get extended visitation, “ She was Not respectful at all of my daughter. She even left the doors open while speaking with the other lawyer and was making comments to him like my daughter was acting like she wanted to much!!!!

I am so happy that I chose Anita as my family lawyer. She took a personal interest in my case and helped me through my two-year struggle. I always felt like my case was important to her firm. They were very responsive in returning calls and getting documents prepared on time. Anita is a caring, exceptional family lawyer. Anita Cutrer is the best! There are many things that set Anita apart from the rest. Her firm is dedicated to the client experience. I always get promptly returned emails and phone calls. If there is a lull in the case or procedure, Anita's office is proactive in updating me. While this firm does have paralegals and assistants who are very helpful and knowledgeable, it is no problem to schedule a time to speak to Anita because she "makes time" for her clients, despite her busy law firm and court schedule. Lastly, I would like to mention her knowledge, She consistently knows more about the law than other attorneys and knows how to aggressively move a case forward using that knowledge like no one else I have ever seen. I would highly recommend you use this firm for your family litigation or consultative needs. Anita Cutrer gets the job done, you will not be disappointed.

Anita helped me tremendously over the 2 years of my divorce. She was always advocating for my children and I and ultimately helped us to be awarded the right to move out of state. To anyone who has faced that challange, it is no small task! She talked and met with me as often as I needed to and was always very honest with the potential outcomes or realities of situations, which I appreciate. She was always very professional and seemed to have good rapore with the judges and other figures in the courthouse. I was really happy with the way Ms. Cutrer helped me protect my children from a very dangerous situation. She was very professional and knew the law. She was aggressive in getting me what I needed in court for me and my children. But when it was time to help me work out an agreement with my wife she was really helpful.

At a terrible time in my life, after my husband passed away, Anita efficiently got the will probated and helped me through the legalities and details in a personal, caring way. I was once very happily married with five children. However, after 20 years, my marriage fell apart. My wife simply wanted out and Divorce (capital “D”) became our final destination. I wanted full custody of our children and believed it also to be in the best interest of the children. While I believe that courts do put the interests of the children first, I believe they often interpret that to mean that ‘mom’ gets custody. I went into my divorce expecting to lose my children amongst other things. As a man wanting full custody of his children, I knew I had an uphill battle to fight. I knew I needed an excellent lawyer to fight for me. And true or not, I believed that, if I had a male attorney represented me, it might somehow strengthen the ‘victim’ appearance of my soon to be ex-wife (i.e. two men bullying a ‘poor, defenseless’ woman trying to keep her kids). No doubt, I wanted a woman representing me in court. When I first realized divorce was inevitable, I fully expected to lose my children and face financial ruin (as I expected my child support payments would be through the roof). Regardless, I did my research, talked to several attorneys, and ultimately, Anita Cutrer was my choice. I have to say.. wow! I could not have been more pleased! She stood before the judge, fought for me and my children and won! As a man, I was awarded full custody of all five of my children. I have full right to claim child support from my ex (although I chose not to collect any monies from her), and I retained full ownership of my home. I don’t know the gentleman’s circumstances below. It sounded nothing like my experience. Perhaps there were other issues respective to his case or personal situation that influenced the judge to decide against him. I just know that I am greatly in Anita’s debt. She and her staff were absolute stars. They worked with me through many details, were very open to my input and scored a major win for me and my children in the end. I could not have been more pleased with the results! Her hard work and diligence made the quality of my life - after marriage- so much better than others that have had similar experiences. I truly have a clean slate and a fresh start independent of the nagging control an ex can sometimes place in one’s life. Divorce is a horrible thing. Find a way to stay married – AT ALL COSTS - if you can. You will both be better off, and so will your children. If you have no other choice, I would give Anita Cutrer my highest recommendations to anyone in need of such services. Best Wishes in your search
