First, let me say that Attorney Green is the only lawyer I contacted that actually provides a truly free consultation. She actually took the time during the initial call, prior to retaining her, to hear a few facts and why I was seeking a divorce. Our consultation call wasn't simply about her costs but how she would represent me during the process. That was the reason why I selected her. That initial call made me feel as if she wants what is best for people during a time that is very difficult, and it wasn't about the money she would make during the process. Attorney Green is thorough and was very communicative during the process. She asked questions and never assumed and always kept me up-to-date on every element of the process. The communication system utilized for her office makes them reachable and communication a breeze. I also appreciate her willingness not to run costs up just because there is a retainer. If there are tasks you can take care of versus her or her staff, she'll let you know. She'll also advise on whether things are a good use of funds and will even tell the other side what she WON'T do because it isn't a good use of her client's money. I definitely recommend her services! I don't believe you'll get a better attorney than her. She truly has your best interest at heart in every aspect of your case.

Absolute trash, if you want incompetence and complete disregard for your case...be my guest fathers. Don't take my word for it do your own research on this firm and you will see the 5 star reviews are bogus. I was ordered to send passport documents to this firm to forward to the mother of my child's lawyer....This firm shredded the notarized copy and sent a photo copy. When the mother of my child filed for the passport, they did not accept the photo copy. This was months after I sent the original notarized documents.I was then forced to get the documents notarized again and send them straight to the mother. They are good for nothing. I do not recommended. You will pay a lot of money for mediocre representation.

I used Ashley for my contested divorce case. I love the transparency of the office, how quickly they communicate and update you of changes in the case. Ashley actually knows your case and she will follow up and prep you for mediation and court as well. She is straightforward and tells you what to expect in either scenario. In my case, my ex and I failed to reach an agreement at mediation, Ashley and I prepped for court, but I ended up reaching a last minute agreement with my ex outside of court and the case ended faster than anticipated (thankfully). Just know that Ashley is very involved and gets things done in a timely manner to minimize cost. I will definitely recommend her services.

ALP Law Firm was very knowledgeable and helpful in my divorce case. Although it was a little complicated, they helped explain things to me and put me at ease. The lawyers are great and I highly recommend this firm.

My wife and I were referred to Allecia Lindsey-Pottinger (ALP) Law Firm through our MetLife insurance policy. We are looking for legal advice because my cousin-in-law is dying of cancer in a third-world country and would like us to take care of her son in the U.S. when she passes. We scheduled an appointment last week and were promised free advice from ALP this week, even though we let them know we would expect MetLife Insurance to cover at least some amount of the consult. Instead, ALP waited until 15 minutes before the conference to let us know that they were "phasing out"...blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile my cousin-in-law's time is quickly passing as well as our ability to find legal counsel regarding our ability to care for her 13 year old, soon to be orphaned, son. It would've been welcomed for ALP to tell us beforehand that they wouldn't take our case because the money from insurance isn't good enough instead of leading us on to think we might have found some needed help.
