I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a short term lease apartment for the past week, while I look for a house in Salado. I've visited at least a dozen apartments from Killeen to Temple. Unfortunately, Chappell Oaks was a little out of my desired budget being that I am also maintaining an apartment at a different location. If I was looking for an apartment to stay in long term, I would be moving in right now! I really liked to overall look and feel of the complex. tons of old mature trees, classic brick buildings, very quiet and peaceful and the overall size of the 1 bed 1 bath that I looked at was bigger than most of the other apartments that I viewed over the past week. However the reason I am writing this review is my interaction with the management team. Specifically Diana White who helped me when I was there. Once it became clear that I would not be leasing at Chappell Oaks, Mrs. White, going above and beyond, recommended other apartment option for me to look into and even made several phone calls to other locations trying to find something that would fit my needs. She could have very easily said "good luck" and sent me on my way, but she made an effort to help me out when she had no obligation to do so. I've lived in several different states, renting and buying both houses and apartments and customer service has always been and important part of the overall experience. It was very refreshing to meet someone who also understands the importance of customer service, and is kind enough to help someone in need. Thanks again Diana White!

My mother - in -law lives there and my daughters love going over there to see her and to play while I talk.

Chappell Oaks was a true and welcoming home for my husband and I. The staff was amazing--always kind, courteous, and eager to help. Maintenance was incredibly prompt; they fixed any problem we had on the same day we submitted a request. They are extremely pet friendly, even remembering my dog's name. The grounds were always immaculately clean and absolutely gorgeous! I just loved the trees everywhere, it gave the complex a very private, spacious feeling. The pool area is so beautiful, I would often sit in the shade and read a book just to enjoy the beauty of the trees, ivy, and stonework. All of our neighbors were extremely friendly, helpful, and quiet. We never had a single problem with noise, and my husband and I go to bed extremely early. Unfortunately, my husband and I got restrained away from. Fort Hood. As a result, we had to leave our beautiful home. If we ever come back to the Belton area. We will make sure to return to Chappell Oaks!
