Mr. Neal did an excellent job representing me in Caldwell co. I hoped to never need him again. It looks like I may need his expert legal help obtaining documents from my sister. Wills from Grandad and my parents. Have not been forthcoming as I've requested. Can't tolerate this any longer. I'm needing his help again. Partly over loosing Phil Banks. Updated Sept 2023. And it looks and sounds like I've got an imposter running around Durango and elsewhere claiming to be me. Like Don Federer of the Eagles. Only worse. The Honorable Cleveland Rix III 33°

Robby and his staff are provide outstanding service with exceptional results! The key points that were and are most relevant to list for the service Robby and his team provided for me are: cost, integrity, intelligence, perseverance, and success. Cost- To start this out the right way I’m a big believer that you get what you pay for and how important that is when someone is trying to navigate life while going through any type of legal battle. I can honestly say that Robby was the single best investment I had ever made. With that being said any time someone requires a lawyer’s service to navigate the court system... it will cost a pretty penny, especially in a custody case like mine. Robby was honest from the first meeting I had with him and he told me “I’m not cheap and I like to win”! For me that’s a no brainer there is no price tag on my son that’s too high and I like the whole winning thing too. At the end of the day Robby did win and he was worth every penny and then some. Robby was fair and honest about what was charged to my account for the services he provided me. Integrity- When I first talked to Robby I told him I wanted to do this the right way, with class and integrity. Now knowing Robby and his team, I wasted my breath because that’s just what they do. From start to finish my case was conducted with outstanding character and integrity. Intelligence- My court case with Robby was a grind, we started upside down. I, as a father, did not have custody of my son and he had been moved to a different city. I didn’t think there was even a possibility of gaining ground... until I saw Robby at work. I very quickly gained confidence in him and his team right off the bat, and realized he was and is 8 steps ahead of everyone else around him. Robby even impressed me more when we were selecting jurors for our 3 day jury trial. He was able remember the names of over 40 complete strangers and where they were seated (not getting one persons name or seating location wrong) all by reviewing names on a piece of paper for about 2 min prior to when the jury selection began to be seated. The opposing lawyers face was one of complete utter wow. Perseverance- My need for Robby Neal’s legal guidance started June 5, 2019, and I thank God everyday that his team answered my call for help! Not once throughout my entire battle did they waiver, drop the ball, or resign for less than an absolute victory. Thank y’all! Success- Like I said we started in a tough position. I had my son taken from me by his mother. I had every possible imagined false accusation thrown at me. In the state of Texas it is very hard for a father to get custody over a mother, and going through bench trials at the beginning of my custody case seemed to be drowning me even more. She had sole custody and that wasn’t going to change, so it seemed. I believe me gaining ground was one in a million odds against me, let alone winning. To Robby’s credit, he unanimously won the jury trial 6 out of 6 jurors! Now I have my son back home with me and I owe so many thanks to Robby and his team! Robby is the lawyer you want in your corner when facing tough legal situations! Thanks Robby!

I had an extremely horrible experience with this Law Firm a few minutes ago. I would like to share this with you because I feel it is important for people to make a decision with information. The first step in retaining legal representation is to establish a relationship. It is unreasonable to expect any client to blindly pay for representation without having personal interaction that determines if a lawyer has the correct set of values. Keeping this in mind, I called the Foreman Family Law Firm and asked for an initial meeting with the lawyer. I made it extremely clear I was not seeking legal advice. I need to see if this lawyer would adequately represent my interests and ensure that the lawyer would equally covet me as a client. The clerk that answer, by all indications a young man, proceeded to tell me that a discussion would cost $250 per hour. Now I understand legal fees, that number didn't phase me, but what did strike me as peculiar and inappropriate was the need to throw this number out and indicate that it was for the opportunity just to have and introduction to the lawyer. So I said hold on, I'm just trying to establish a relationship and discover the efficacy of this firm as my representation. The response: "We are probably not the law firm for you." Then they hung up on me. Above and beyond the obvious rude treatment by a clerk, a receptionist answering the phone who is an initial representative of the company, one can infer several things from this conversation. The first is that this person was clearly trained to "Filter out the po' folks." Probably they were told that if anybody balks about consultation fees, immediately dismissed them. At the very least, this was a poorly trained and/or ill equipped person that couldn't handle simple discourse involving a contradictory inquiry about the firm's policy. More than likely, however, this is truly an indication of the firm's values and ethics. The second thing that can be gleaned from this short amount of interaction is the willingness of the legal team to direct to their employees to treat people in a rude and disrespectful manner. Regardless of my (or any other client's) financial wherewithal, I wouldn't want somebody with those kinds of scruples representing me. Often times I read reviews on here where probably the person is not conveying information that is relevant to the situation, probably omitting information that might cast themselves in a poor light. That's not the case here. (I hope, three sides to every story and all...) I work as an expert witness with several law firms, I know what to expect from both sides of the client-attorney relationship. I hope my explanation of this interaction helps you in your decision-making as you find appropriate people to represent you.

Robertson Neal made a difficult situation much easier than I expected. He was strong and understanding. My previous lawyer was weak! Did not fight for me. Was not clear about instructions and legal advice! He stole my money. Robertson was exactly the opposite! He is a man of his word. A man of character. Discrete, professional and gets results!!!

Mr. Neal is an extraordinary person and his knowledge of the law is impeccable. He is very kind and answered all of my questions. He went above and beyond and helped steer me in the right direction so that I could file my own paperwork and saved me some money; and that gave me the confidence in needed to proceed in my goals!

My son was arrested at A&M on 3 different charges and had never been in any trouble before. I got a call at 2am to bail him out of jail, and was told to find a lawyer ASAP. I called Jay on a Sunday, thinking I would just get an answering service and he would call me back during normal business hours. He called me back that Sunday while he was having lunch with his wife to help me and assure me that it would be ok. The prosecutor kept pushing back our case so it took 2.5 years to get a court date. Jay stuck with us the entire time. He answered every email and every phone call and kept working on my son's case the entire time. When he tells you it's better to wait, listen to him. He knows what he's doing. We were able to avoid a trial and have my son's records expunged and he now has nothing stopping him from living a normal life without a record to remind of mistakes he made while he was a kid. I would recommend Jay for any case.

If I would not have met Jay or he would have not represented me my life would be a whole lot worse off. Jay works tirelessly for you. Smart lawyer, tough, with a big backbone. Jay will provide wonderful representation for you.
