I was appointed Mr. Shane Phelps as my attorney when I was being charged with some things I did not do. I was scared and had no idea what the outcome would be since I was facing serious charges and didn’t have a paid lawyer. The first conversation I had with Mr. Phelps, I was trying to offer payment because I always heard that you never beat a case with a court appointed lawyer. He simply denied my request and informed me that he works just as hard for his court appointed clients as he does for his paid clients and that’s just what he did! Mr. Phelps and his team kept me updated throughout my case, they instructed me down the correct path to get everything resolved and most importantly he believed me and wanted to do everything in his power to make sure I didn’t have to suffer consequences for things I didn’t do.
